I am grateful to my mother, niece Diane and cousins Margaret and Pauline for sharing with me the research they had started on our family tree. Once I began researching and adding to what they had started I began having so much fun learning about all our relatives that I find no stopping point. To me this is more fun and enjoyable than reading a book, TV, and other activities that once took up so much of my time. My current tree has grown to over 3,000 relatives and I haven't even started on the Tillmans my married name. My recent find was an extended family member that started a Mico post office in his home about 1880 and his two sons delivered the mail twice a week by horseback to the star route in Mississippi. Later one of the sons became the postmaster and moved the post office to his new home several miles away. This was interesting since my deceased husband was a rural mail carrier in Stone Mountain, Lilburn and Bethlehem, Georgia. I was a sub mail carrier in Stone Mountain about 1963-1965.|
If I have taken a photo and posted it on Find A Grave of a relative or friend of yours, feel free to make copies. I feel it would be selfish of me to post photos of your relatives and then not allow you to have copies of your own relative for your family tree. I was reminded of this when reading Philippians 2:3-5 "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. " I get so excited when I find a missing relative and lots of them were found as a result of the generous hours donated by FAG volunteers. I am so grateful. So enjoy and happy researching.

Found it finally. It should have been H. so the computer was second guessing me. Corrected. Thanks!

That is a valid point. I have been unable to locate them on my hard copy....too many names and they all run together. I'm sure you understand. I'll go back through again and if I can't locate, I'll go back to cemetery and check. I'm curious too, but I have seen wrong gender names like that
before. There is a particular family that named all their girls w/ boy names and all boys w/ girls names (Fitts family)....Go figure...It is possible that it was a single H and my computer auto corrected it...it occasionally thinks it knows more than me. I have had problems w/ that but I usually catch it....But I'll keep looking.

Glad to do it!

|Joye Woodall||J B Woodall req for transfer|
JB Woodall is very distant relative, but I am trying to update all family history on all Woodall's and get them linked to parents etc. JB was my husband's Gr-Grandfather's....grandson. So you can see it is distant. If you wish to keep it, that is OK. Just trying to get them all linked on Find A Grave and that may help family down the road. email@example.com is my email is you wish to contact me. JB's grandfather had children by 3 different women and it's been a task for me.

Thank you so much for the edit. You have done a wonderful job on her memorial. I'm sure Nanny would approve. I forgot one name when I listed the great grandchildren. That name is Mason Lloyd Booth. Do you mind adding that at the end of the list of great grandchildren? Please. I actually have thought about starting a family tree, but I'm unsure on how to go about doing it. Any help or advice for that, would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your condolences. It definitely has been the hardest loss that I have had to go through so far.
May God Bless and comfort your family as well.

Hi Patricia. I'm the granddaughter of Betty Dove Craig buried at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Athens. There is something that needs to be edited on her virtual grave please. She has 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren (not 16). Is there any way possible that you could list the names of her grandchildren? Dallas Marie Craig, Andy Ray Cowart, Nicholas Bronson Cowart, Dustin Lee Craig, Katrina Michelle Wood, Preston Lloyd Booth, Taylor LeeAnn Booth, and Lonnie Brent Ayers. Great grandchildren are Alexis Michelle Swain, Mathew Landyn Swain,Alexandria Nichole Cowart, Easton Craig Wood, Aden Drake Cowart. Thank you.
Oops! I guess my fat little fingers hit the wrong key for the year date. Sorry about the inconvenience to you. I'll be more careful in the future. I've corrected the date. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.

Glad you declined that edit. I must have been asleep when I sent it. No idea what I was thinking.
