Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am grateful to my mother, niece Diane and cousins Margaret and Pauline for sharing with me the research they had started on our family tree. Once I began researching and adding to what they had started I began having so much fun learning about all our relatives that I find no stopping point. To me this is more fun and enjoyable than reading a book, TV, and other activities that once took up so much of my time. My current tree has grown to over 3,000 relatives and I haven't even started on the Tillmans my married name. My recent find was an extended family member that started a Mico post office in his home about 1880 and his two sons delivered the mail twice a week by horseback to the star route in Mississippi. Later one of the sons became the postmaster and moved the post office to his new home several miles away. This was interesting since my deceased husband was a rural mail carrier in Stone Mountain, Lilburn and Bethlehem, Georgia. I was a sub mail carrier in Stone Mountain about 1963-1965.

If I have taken a photo and posted it on Find A Grave of a relative or friend of yours, feel free to make copies. I feel it would be selfish of me to post photos of your relatives and then not allow you to have copies of your own relative for your family tree. I was reminded of this when reading Philippians 2:3-5 "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus." I get so excited when I find a missing relative and lots of them were found as a result of the generous hours donated by FAG volunteers. I am so grateful. So enjoy and happy researching.

RE: Junie Williamson
Thanks again for again the photos to Junie Williamson gravesite at Maxey Hill. So I found a death certificate for his mother, my great grandmother Lizzie (Riley) Williamson, it doesn't list the cemetery name, it just says Jefferson, GA as burial site, it appears that Maxey Hill might have been the only Black cemetery so I am assuming her gravesite is there, she died in 11-31-1931 in Hall County.

It clearly has Bolman on her stone. If you don't change to reflect what is on stone, someone will create a duplicate. My understanding of guidelines is the memorial should ALWAYS reflect the stone and a note put in bio about difference.
Just saying....

RE: Junie Williamson
Hello Patricia,

Thanks for all your work, it is very much appreciated! It is helping to connect my mom to the paternal family she never got to know. I have been doing research and it turns out that Annie Ruth Hancock and Charlie Junior Riley were Eula B Riley's children. Samuel Louis Jackson was Ruth Jackson's son. Ruth Jackson was Eula Riley's sister, so Samuel was Eula's nephew, it appears she partly raised him after his mother died in 1944. Is Ruth Jackson also in the plot or cemetery?
Other children of Ruth and James Jackson includes Donald and Willie Jackson.
Stanley F Riley is Annie Ruth Hancock's son.

Any additional photos would be awesome. If you note anymore Williamson's let me know. Also any Cash's, because Eula B Riley's sister Emma married a Cash and after 1930 census I can't find her but she was a resident of Jackson County.

I am looking forward to hearing back with your meeting with the preacher. Thanks for the future transfers!

I hope you have a great weekend as well!

RE: Junie Williamson
Also my great grandmother Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rylee's niece is buried in Maxey Hill. Her name was Eula Riley, she died 26 MAR 1999, her father was John Rylee, she also had one son that I know of and he is buried there as well. His name was Charlie Junior Riley, he died 29 JUNE 1996. If you could forward my email address to the pastor, that would be great. I am hoping to make connections with the community in hopes of finding my family. All the information I know is through 10 years worth of research, My mom grew up knowing nothing of her father's side, it will be nice to make this connection. I hope to make a visit that way soon.

RE: Junie Williamson
Thanks Patricia for all of that information. I've never been to Jackson County, but I have been to several counties north of there (White,Stephens,Clarke,Habersham) because my mom's maternal side of the family is from those areas & still live there. My mom's paternal side (Williamson's) are a bit a mystery. I know they were from Jackson County, and lived in the Harrisburg district for the most part. However, my mom's father passed when she was a child in 1970 so no information is known of them. I am trying to find living descendants who might know more...I have reason to believe my great grandmother Lizzie Williamson is buried there, on her death certificate (1931) it only stated Jefferson, GA and that Newton ward handled her burial. Her son is Junieus "Junie" Williamson(1900-1929) and he was married to a Lattie Mae Williamson according to his death certificate. I don't know what happened to the wife. I am trying to research that now. I am also trying to research the other part of my mom's paternal ancestry which are the Rylee/Riley family (multiple spellings i've noticed) that family started off in Banks & franklin counties and ended up in Barrow county through the years...Once again this is difficult because we don't know any living descendants besides ourselves.
