Thank you SO MUCH for adding the info on the Ringen memorial. I really appreciate the work you've done :)
Yes, I'm Orphina Fouquet's great grandson through her youngest daughter Orphina Mingori-Sumner. I have recently discovered a ton of inormation about the Dussart family with help from the French gentleman who also has been offering up corrections the past 36 hours. Much of the hand-me-down info we have relied on for years through for the Fouquets has had some minor errors that record searches are fixing.

Thelma: no I am not related. If you will send me your email address through the edit tab, I have information from our spreadsheet that might help you. I would rather not give my email out through a public message. I have surveyed and photographed Spring Creek and have a spreadsheet for our files for the Bosque County Historical Commission. Look forward to hearing from you. Abby

You posted a photo of Jens Christopher from the family book, do you own a copy and if so can you make a copy, talked to uncle Richard about 14 years ago and he said it is out of print and there are no extras. I would dearly love to see the book. thanks so much for posting the photo.

You are welcome. The cemetery is a real mess. I took pictures of all the stones I could find about 10 or 12 years ago. It has only gotten worse since then, with trees and brush and vandalism. No one is responsible and it covers 55 acres. I live only a block away.

Thank you so much for the memorials you created for Farwell Cemetery! I very much appreciate your work there, as I had no idea where Sarah E. (Thomas) Strong was buried, and to find her and the children indicated on her stone - and in the same cemetery as Milo! So nice to see them all together, which I wouldn't have known without all your contributions.

Can't send a picture of her death date cause she is still alive as is her older sister Vera and her younger brother Jim. Of the 11 children in this family that survived childhood 8 have reached at least 90, Ethel was 102, Amy 96, Spike 98,Lloyd and Don 91 and Nina 90. Ardys (my mother) will be 90 on Feb 13.
Who is your husband? I remember going to all those Busk reunions in Brookings when I was a kid.
|Candy||THANK YOU! !|
I thank you so very much for the photos of Margaret and Andrew Betts' headstones! They are the parents of my great uncle Frank Wulfing Bobb's wife, Maud Betts. Great Uncle Frank was a pharmacist and his 3 brothers (The Doctors Bobb) were the founding physicians of the Methodist Hospital in Mitchell, SD. My grandfather, Dr. E.V.Bobb, was mayor of Mitchell and it was he who dedicated the Corn Palace. My mom was born in Pierre. My aunt Phyllis (Phyl) Bobb married Kenneth Elmer Albright he born Aug 18, 1910 in Anne Arundel, Maryland son of William E. Albright and Mary M. Holmes. Any Albright connections with your line?
My great grandpa Martin Luther Bobb served as town clerk for Mitchell from 1898 until his death in 1902. He is buried in Graceland with his wife, Mary Jane Wulfing Bobb.
Good to hear from someone from South Dakota where I have firm roots!
Again, thank you for posting the photos and taking the time to let me know!
