Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am grateful to my mother, niece Diane and cousins Margaret and Pauline for sharing with me the research they had started on our family tree. Once I began researching and adding to what they had started I began having so much fun learning about all our relatives that I find no stopping point. To me this is more fun and enjoyable than reading a book, TV, and other activities that once took up so much of my time. My current tree has grown to over 3,000 relatives and I haven't even started on the Tillmans my married name. My recent find was an extended family member that started a Mico post office in his home about 1880 and his two sons delivered the mail twice a week by horseback to the star route in Mississippi. Later one of the sons became the postmaster and moved the post office to his new home several miles away. This was interesting since my deceased husband was a rural mail carrier in Stone Mountain, Lilburn and Bethlehem, Georgia. I was a sub mail carrier in Stone Mountain about 1963-1965.

If I have taken a photo and posted it on Find A Grave of a relative or friend of yours, feel free to make copies. I feel it would be selfish of me to post photos of your relatives and then not allow you to have copies of your own relative for your family tree. I was reminded of this when reading Philippians 2:3-5 "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. " I get so excited when I find a missing relative and lots of them were found as a result of the generous hours donated by FAG volunteers. I am so grateful. So enjoy and happy researching.

RE: Howard Godfrey
Thanks again, Patricia.

The memorial will be "complete" after I make a drive down to where Keith, Jr.'s mother is buried, take the necessary pictures and create a memorial for her :)
She's probably less than two-hours from where I live, so it's the least I can do.
I know where she is supposed to be, but I'm not going to create a memorial without proof (carved-in-stone, hehehe).

I may take you up on your transfer offer at that time.

Sorry for delay in getting back with you, it's been a busy week. No, I did not know your father or step brother but would be happy to transfer the memorial to you. It gives me great joy to complete a memorial and then get it in the care of a loving family member. If you would like a transfer use the edit section in upper right corner of the memorial for the transfer.
Take care, Patricia

RE: Howard Godfrey
Thank you for thinking of me, but I really don't think I need credit for submitting the obituary to you :) Sort of clutters-up the page, IMHO.
So, please go ahead and remove the, "Thanks for obituary furnished by Find A Grave contributor Big Bob #48755390:" credit.
Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to help document my people. It means a lot to me that my father, and my half-brother Keith, Jr. can be linked and remembered together, as they both missed out on this in real life. (A bitter divorce exacts a terrible price.)
Did you know Keith and Cathy?
Your profile suggests that friends and family played a big part in many of your Find A Grave memorials.

Hi, from another Patricia! Yes, sometimes the new entries do not show up in the Index. I've made duplicates for that reason on several occasions and delete them as soon as I find out. Thank you for your kindness!

RE: John Henry Belger
Hi Patricia,

I just got your message yesterday. It was dated June 3, 2014.

I really appreciate all of your efforts in trying to find the burial site for my Great Uncle John Henry Belger's wife. I learned from my oldest family member, just before he died last year, that John never married.

Again, thank you for your continued interest and help.
