|Some of the cemetery pictures I have taken are of higher quality than others, so I wouldn't be at all offended by polite suggestions to remove a photo, if better ones have been obtained. A reminder that if my thumbnail on a memorial seems distant, or grainy, one can click for a larger detailed image. I do not keep originals after uploading successfully. FYI - most photos were taken relatively close to the upload date.|
I'm generally willing to transfer memorials, other than my own family (unless you have a closer relationship). Please let me know your relationship to an individual, no matter how distant, or other circumstances triggering the request. IMPORTANT: requests made other than as Suggest a Correction using the "other" (last) dropdown box with a message such as "please transfer (my dad's best friend with no family of his own, etc.)" will be ignored - separate request required for each person!
Please do not request that I add (paste) extensive obituaries or other similar material. If you feel there's a specific reason why the person should have special note, please explain why I should make an exception - thanks.

|Jeff Holm||RE: Johann|
He may not have died in Washington. My point is, there is no record showing Johann E. Martens is in fact Joe Martens as shown on the two different grave markers. What is your evidence that Joe and Johann are in fact the same person? Johann would generally be translated as John, not Joe. I checked the Washington State Digital archives and they have no record Johann or JOe and Ancestry.com also doesn't show they are one and the same person. So I'm just asking how did you determine Johann E. Martens is in fact, Joe Martens. I tried working it out through a wife, but the Joe Martens grave marker, although it has space for a wife, doesn't list one and Washington shows no marriage. I've tried your list of relatives but I can't reach the same conclusion you did. And there is no marriage record for Johann or Joe. So I entered a record for Joe, but if I am wrong then I would like to delete my record. Make sense? I can't prove I'm right or that you are right...so I'm asking how you reached your conclusion?

Obituaries name family members. The information that I gave to you just identify who he is for future family. No names, just his wife.

Dear John Speer:
If you could transfer my grandfather's memorial to me, I have written a biography and would like to add some family photos as well.
Thank you very much indeed for your time in adding his memorial here and very best regards to you and your family.
