I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.
If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.
My ultimate goal is to photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Sunset Hills (in progress. I feel like I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I only have a couple of sections, and the mausoleum, left to photograph.)

Please add "Brooklyn" between her date of berth
and place of berth.
It's found in the first line of her obit.

Feel free to use my pictures.

Thanks so much for the info and for taking the photo of the plot. This is my daughter-in-law's aunt and uncle and I can't imagine why they don't have a marker yet. I will check on this with her (she lives in Ohio). If I ever hear that a marker has been placed, I will request the grave photo again. Appreciate your efforts and also for the photo for for Robert Reed, who is an uncle on her mom's side of the family. Findagrave folks are so nice! Diane

I have added the links for James Gaunt's parents. Thanks for the information. I hope you don't mind that I have transferred management of his memorial to you. I do not have a direct relation to him and thought you might be able to add additional family information to his memorial. Thanks for your help!
|James Turner Harris||RE: Various Updates|
Thank you making the original memorials and using my suggestions. All the best in your research and God Bless.
|James Odland||Karen (Kulsrud) Marsh|
Just now, I added Karen' graduation picture onto her memorial page.
|Wendi Muto||Thank you|
I was reading your post and why you help with findagrave, and I was moved by your kindness. You walk were I can't, you see what I long to find, but instead of keeping it to yourself, you have shared it with all. Thank you so much for your kindness, time and help. I was able to visit my ancestor thanks to you and it made today feel happy. Please continue with your work, as it does make a difference.
|James Odland||Oscar & Elaine (McGrath) Kulsrud|
Thank you for the additional information concerning where their plot is within the cemetery.
I credited you for the info on both of Oscar' and Elaine' memorial page.
|James Odland||RE: Karen Marsh|
My wife, Julie Bohlman, was a cousin of Karen'. Karen' father, Oscar Kulsrud, was a brother of Julie' mother, Lila.

Thanks for helping me to correct my entries for the two above... This helps to make sure my friends' memorial is correct, reflecting his parent's memorials. Thanks for the assist.
