I am pleased to announce that Mt Pleasant has been completely photographed. That is those stones that are visible. The photos are not posted on FAG but I check the request list against my database.|
All those photo requests are most likely unmarked or illegible grave sites.
Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone.
If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.
Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.
I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.
Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.
In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.
Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.
If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.
If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.
I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.
SHOULD YOU WISH TO MANAGE A MEMORIAL PAGE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER.

I am writing to thank you for the headstone photo of my cousin, George Cessna in Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park Cemetery, and secondly, to request permission to use this photo in my Ancestry.com family tree. I would cite your name for photo credit.
Thanks again, Debbie # 47064450
I think you need to contact Emily Shepherd Labatt (below me on comments) It looks like she made the photo request.
I do have a question for you though: After reading your bio, maybe you can explain something to me? If I ever need to make an edit to a Find-a-Grave page, am I to understand the creator of that particular page is the one that approves and makes those changes? I have only once requested an edit and only to include my own grandmother in a sibling list in her family. Of course I know this information is correct, but I didn't have to prove it or provide sources. I wondered if there was someone just making the changes at will!
I can see that this could be a pretty time consuming process to not only create the page, but maintain any edits forever!

May I use a picture of the headstone for my family tree?

Thank you so much for taking the time ti fill my request for Florence's stone.
I could see just the edge of the adjoining stone for her husband William's stone to pretty much be sure she was buried beside him, but having her stone makes it all the better.
I do appreciate the kindness.

I've added your marker photo to document place of burial in his record in the Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties at http://www.CoffeltDatabase.org.
Thank you for helping us to remember him properly ... and for your extra effort in sending me a high-res photo.
