|Bio and Links|
I am 31 years old, originally from Arizona, but I have been in Idaho for 16 years. I met my wife at BYU-Idaho, and we now have two beautiful daughters and two adorable sons. I have been obsessed with genealogy since I was very young, and I am happy to help others find their ancestors.|
Lately I have been getting multiple requests for the same action in the same week. Please be patient. I generally take care of all of my emails on weekends, because I have a lot keeping me busy during the week. If I don't fulfill your request within a couple weeks, feel free to resend it at that point.
I contribute to this website because I have gotten so much out of it for my own research. I love finding records of my relatives' burials, and especially love when there is a picture of their grave included. My contributions are my way of giving back. I'm not trying to get the biggest numbers on my profile, although I admit that I check my numbers often. (I have a degree in Mathematics, I can't help it.)
I try to add family links, places, middle and maiden names, and any other information I can find to each memorial. If you have this information and I have not included it, please notify me through the Suggest a Correction link under the Edit tab. I usually get to them the following weekend. I will transfer family members, as long as they are not my relatives also, but I ask that if I transfer them to you that you be willing to update the memorial if anyone asks. One thing I hate is a "dead memorial," one that the contributor doesn't take care of and nobody can ever update again.
If you find a birth or death certificate for one of my memorials, please send me the link rather than adding it as a picture to the memorial. I love adding these extra links, and I think it looks better than a picture of a document.
I am also working on getting my entire family, no matter how distant, linked and updated on here. This involves a whole lot of correction emails. I don't generally include source information with my emails, because of the time it takes, but in most cases I have that information handy if requested. If you have received hundreds of emails from me, please be patient. I am not trying to annoy anyone, and I am not in a rush to have it done, I'm just trying to help make this site better for future visitors.
When I find a relative's memorial, I add it to my virtual cemeteries under the branch of my family that they come from. As of May 5, 2015, I have 26924 relatives found on Find a Grave. I usually leave flowers on relatives' graves if they don't have any yet, because I don't want any of them to be forgotten.

Hi. You sent me an edit to add this woman as the mother of Royal Alexander Ritner, and I have questions about this relationship, so I am not approving the edit at this time. Would appreciate you emailing me privately to discuss this at email@example.com Thanks

Thanks Logan for your response related to Charles A. Wilcox.
If I didn't mention it before, I am adopted (my adopted name is Robert Sellars). My birth name was Russell Wilcox....hence my relationship to Charles A. Wilcox who was my great grandfather. His son, Truman Wilcox, was my grandfather. I have never seen, nor met any direct decendants (other than some cousins, who have been very helpful in my search).
Do you have any information re Charles A. Wilcox (1862-1923) and his marriages and his run-in with the law? Also, do you have any info regarding his son Truman (with what appears to be his first wife, Francis Skinner)? It appears that they married in 1886, then she divorced him in 1899 after his visit with the State Prison in Jackson.
Any info you have on Charles, his marriages (including Arminda Lampman), and his offspring will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Rob Sellars (Arizona)

I'm writing about Helen, and transfer of her record to me. She was my dad's cousin's wife. Her number is 1271013. If you are more closely related to her than I am, I'm sorry I asked. But, her husband was a beloved childhood friend of my dad's, and he would be pleased if I were maintaining the memorial of his cousin's wife.
Thanks very much,

|Robert L. Sellars||Question re Charles A. Wilcox's Webpage|
I'm reconstructing my birth family. My birth mom was a Wilcox. Her father was Truman Wilcox, then his dad was Charles A. Wilcox (whose grave is at the above link). I am curious about your relationship to the Wilcox clan since you left flowers at this Find A Grave site.
Have had a fairly easy time reconstructing my adoptive parent's and birth father's trees, but this Wilcox tree has been tough. The link between Charles A. Wilcox & son Truman in the Obituary you entered on his Find A Grave page gives a reference to the two, so it is one more artifact that has helped in my search. Thank you so much for your time and effort....it is a real commitment on your part!
Would like to hear from you when you have time. firstname.lastname@example.org (living in AZ).

Hi Logan...thank you for all the work. But the individual you have listed for the mother of Elsina Peterson Isaacson isn't correct. Her name was Martha Christina Clemmenson - KWJC-3MK on familysearch.org...thank you
