Bio and Links
Bio Photo Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone. I am adding quite a few new memorial pages with out taking time to process all the pictures. This way someone may find a cemetery location while I process everything.

If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.

I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.

INSTEAD OF ASKING FOR ADDITIONS TO MEMORIAL PAGES PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER. I WILL NOT BE ADDING ANYTHING FURTHER TO THE MEMORIAL PAGES I HAVE CREATED.

RE: Military Rank -Anthony M Leach -28345327

The Everett Herald published a list of men killed in Action in Vietnam that was from Snohomish County. When a man dies in service to there country they have a right to have their rank included in their name. I have turned down requests from others because they wanted to assign the rank to the name. Like me they served our country during a time of war, but we will die in our beds far away from any action. I was a corporal in the Marine Corp in Vietnam during 1968 and 1969. I do not have the right to have that designation as part of my name upon death. But others that did not come home or came home in a box certainly do.
Many Blessing!

Thank You for the transfer. On a larger scale, we are very nearly done with photographing headstones in Snohomish County. Thank You for your part in that accomplishment. This summer, we have added over 10,000 memorials at Evergreen, many more at Floral Hills and Cypress Lawns. Working on completing GAR today and tomorrow I will be at View Crest Abbey. At the beginning of the year we had 45,000 to do and am now down to 4,000 to 5,000 to photograph and set up memorials for.

I'm also working on grants to put headstones on "Unmarked" graves. I estimate about 10,000 unmarked graves and will need over 5 million to accomplish. I hope once we get this figured out, we will see if King County needs some headstones.

Many Blessings!

RE: Smith S Matlock
Thank you Karen. This one is a mystery. I also sent a request to the WA State who said the King County archives would hold the original record from which the death index was drawn. The death index says "79 days" for age but if it was really this man, he would have been about 79 years old. Thanks for checking.

Thank you for the photo of his headstone. Because of it, I learned he and his wife Hortense had another infant daughter, Nancy W., who did not survive.
