|Some of the cemetery pictures I have taken are of higher quality than others, so I wouldn't be at all offended by polite suggestions to remove a photo, if better ones have been obtained. A reminder that if my thumbnail on a memorial seems distant, or grainy, one can click for a larger detailed image. I do not keep originals after uploading successfully. FYI - most photos were taken relatively close to the upload date.|
I'm generally willing to transfer memorials, other than my own family (unless you have a closer relationship). Please let me know your relationship to an individual, no matter how distant, or other circumstances triggering the request. IMPORTANT: requests made other than as Suggest a Correction using the "other" (last) dropdown box with a message such as "please transfer (my dad's best friend with no family of his own, etc.)" will be ignored - separate request required for each person!
Please do not request that I add (paste) extensive obituaries or other similar material. If you feel there's a specific reason why the person should have special note, please explain why I should make an exception - thanks.

Thanks so very much for transferring Alice to our account. The Jones family is an important part of my wife's ancestry.
Best regards, Alan

Where did you get her birthdate from?
|Liz Jones||RE: Jessie Holliday Dana|
Hi John, many thanks for the information, much appreciated. I will do as you suggest and check with the Nantucket Cemetery Commission - thank you for the tip. Many thanks, Liz
|Charles Laine||CAPT. Norman C. "Bud" Laine|
Thank you for the time, energy , and effort involved in sharing this grave marker. CAPT Laine
is the "adopted" son of my Grandfather , Charles Robert Laine. CAPT Laine was a highly regarded ships Captain in the waterways of the Pacific Northwest. He and his sisters never knew of our tree branch existence.
Norman's father.(my Grandfather) Charles Robert Laine was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. , served in the U.S.N.. and worked a career as a "Rigger" at Puget Sound Naval Yard, he married Verna E. Begallia.(Norman's birth mother from a prior marriage).
Great honorable careers, thanks again for sharing.
Really helpful as I live in Chandler, Az..
Charles D. Laine

I sent you a clipping from the newspaper. If you don't receive it, please let me know. His obit also has a lot of interesting information. I am going to condense it and send it to you also. Robyn
