I enjoy taking and posting photos.
Cemetery walking involves planning, time, gas, bees, flies, gnats, ticks, assorted other bugs, dogs, burrs, briars, weeds, tall grass, snakes, scrapes, cuts, mud, dirt, snow, rain, dust, wind, sun, rutted roads, hills and dales, getting lost, and BUCKETS of sweat.
I had to throw my lunch to a couple wild peacocks headed my way. Seems they have a fondness for egg salad.
I appreciate those folks who list their source when posting my photos to Ancestry.com :)

I am searching for the burial location of Arabella "Belle" Merrill. She is the sister of a relative you created a memorial for: Nellie Grant Merrill #106930329. You have collected so much information from the Astoria area and beyond, I was wondering if you could take a look at your research and see if you have any record of her. I will be calling Astoria cemetery management next week, but thought I would check with you as well.
As always, I am grateful for your many contributions to find a grave and assistance you have provided me in my ancestry research!
Thanks for processing John Ditewig's edits.

Thank you! My grandmother had thought the stillbirth was a boy, so I wanted to check. I appreciate the quick reply!

It is too bad that the landowner, who was a church trustee, destroyed this church cemetery. I would still like to know where all of the stones have gone. Have a good Christmas!
