I joined FAG after finding this website while working on my genealogy. Since most of my family is on Long Island and I am in Delaware, I could understand the value in volunteering to document and photograph graves in my area. I have always liked cemeteries and now I have an excuse to stroll through them. | |

 | RE: Blackiston Methodist Cemetery Hi Gail,
I documented as much as possible at Blackiston but, there are some unknowns. The Hurlock stones were damaged but there may be names facing down on the fallen stones. I wasn't prepared to attempt to move them.
There is a damaged monument that is stacked in pieces and there may be some readable text in the middle layer. I was alone and didn't attempt to move the pieces - probably best left to someone skilled at restoring the monument.
There were three that I could not identify. I have the photos and have tried to edit them to discover the names but without success.
There's always a chance I missed something but, I attempted to document the entire cemetery.
I hope I've answered your question,

 | RE: Roscoe Cemetery I wish I could say yes, but that cemetery is in rough shape. Some of the stones were broken with the face of it down. And some of the stones were so worn it was impossible to tell what they said. Sorry. Crystal | | | Lyle Detwiller
 | RE: Detweiler corrections Gail, Thank you for making the updates. I am trying to link together those family members, where my oown records show the relationships and of course that requires a lot of help from FindAGrave members. It is simply amazing how many memorials are being added at this time. Lyle Detwiller | | | Lyle Detwiller

 | Jonathan Horton photo Hello, I was wondering what is carved on this marker - at first blush, it seems to be "1811". If I am correct, how does this tie in with Jonathan? Thank you for your time and your help, J http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=66750079&PIpi=70025570 | | | Sherlocks Cousin
 | RE: Bertha Rose Rash My Mom has Rash relatives in her tree, but I haven't gotten to Reynolds, yet. I was adding people and that's when I came across Bertha and Reynolds, so I thought I would add her death cert for you.
Have you tried FamilySearch.org in searching for births in Delaware - free site? Do you need some help in searching - I need a break from Findagrave-lol.

 | RE: Rice photos - Roscoe cemetery Not a problem at all GFord. I was close to getting all the Rice requests but the weather turned bad and I had to leave. The "Infant Rice" may be problematic as the small stones are in poor condition making them hard to read. But, I'll try again soon. Pat | | | NY ladybug
 | RE: Norton Headstone - Riverside No problem. The cemetary is a few blocks from where I work and very well laid out so easy to find requested monuments. Thank you! | | | NY ladybug
 | RE: Palmer Headstone - Riverside This is a lovely, well maintained and laid out cemetary. Easy to find just about anyone for which I have looked. Thanks! | | | NY ladybug
