|Kevin Cantrell ||Grant Music Family Member|
Hello sir, my name is Kevin Cantrell. I happened across the memorial you made for Grant Music (41554089). Grant and grandpa Taylor Music were first cousins. He married Minnie Bingham and moved away from this area many years ago, eventually ending up in Miami.
I was wondering if it would be at all possible for me to take care of Grant's memorial? If so, I really appreciate it and thank you for taking the time to make him a memorial. From what I've heard the family say, he was a great man.

Hello Ken, and thank you for adding this memorial, which might be for an uncle of my great-grandmother.
Would I be correct in identifying this gravestone as typical of those for Civil War veterans? It appears that his age at death, about 80, would have come from the cemetery records because it is not on the stone. True?
Being about 80 at death in 1927 would make his birth about 1847. From the census of 1850, my John C. Kittle was born about 1845, which would make him of an age for the Civil War.
Currently, his memorial page gives his birth as about 1867.
If any other details are available, I would be glad to know more about this veteran.

Hello Ken: Thank you for the transfer of Minnie Rubert. I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was in the process of making a 1300 mile move the past few months and I haven't been online. I'm just now catching up on my messages. I'm glad she is with her family. Regards...

The cemetery your wife is referring to is called Oakwood Cemetery, not The Bay Shore Cemetery.
|Joneta Burke||Bay Shore Cemetery|
Would you please tell me what street in Bay Shore, Suffolk County, N.Y. the Bay Shore Cemetery is? I only know of the Oakwood Cemetery on Brentwood Road in Bay Shore. I look forward to hearing from you.

Abby Levi is my GG Grandmother (My Mother's father, his mother (Lida Levi) and her mother (Abby). She was married to C.M. Levi, my GG Grandfather. He died in 1930 in Tampa, but is buried in Mount Peace Cemetery in St. Cloud also. I have to get over there one day, but if you get a chance to take a picture of his grave, that would be great. Charles Milton Levi (C.M. Levi). Abby died in 1915. I would be happy to maintain this site for you.
