NOTE: As of November 2014, I've made it through surgery and am 3/4 of the way through chemotherapy. I'm very hopeful, and very appreciative of all the words of kindness and encouragement.|
As of August 2014, I'm dealing with my mother's recent death and my own recent cancer diagnosis. Please be patient with any suggestions / edits you send. Thanks in advance!
[PLEASE read (starting with para. 2) before contacting me about a memorial; it will save us both time and trouble. Thanks!]
I'm a history major and a lawyer (University of Virginia, Emory University;) a fanatic about live music (Todd Rundgren, Gene Owens, the blues;) and a photographer. I'm a wife and a mother (a son who recently graduated from law school at the University of Georgia and a daughter who recently graduated from Tulane.) I have a house full of rescued dogs and cats.
If I'm the caretaker of a memorial for someone who was closer to you than to me, I'll consider transferring that memorial to you; feel free to ask, but please include DETAILS as to your relationship to the deceased.
If you have additional information or links that you want added to a memorial, please send details and DO include links to your SOURCES: I'm unlikely to make additions/links if I can't verify their accuracy
All requests for transfers, all suggestions, and all corrections MUST be sent via the edit tab on the memorial in question. If you use the "Other" option you'll be able to send an explanation of, and links to, your sources for suggested changes to a memorial.
If you need to write me at my email address about something else (e.g., a suggestion or correction I've sent you,) PLEASE include a copy of any relevant correspondence and a link to the memorial(s) in question.
If I've posted a cemetery photograph that you want to use on Ancestry, please feel free to do so IF and ONLY IF you include the entire caption as the photograph description. You MUST get my express permission to use any of my photographs OTHER than those taken in cemeteries.

I have removed the two death certificates that you requested that I remove. I meant no disrespect by asking you your reasoning I was truly just curious. Since we know the likelihood of these infants having marked graves is very slim I personally feel that the death certificate adds to the memorials and gives the child more of an identity than quoting a transcription, but each of us has our preferences and that is the beauty of findagrave. I hope you are doing well after all you have been through lately. Take care Ellen
You have requested that I remove a couple of death certificates from memorials. Death Certificates are allowed and there are no other photos on the memorials. The five slots are not in danger of being filled up. I am curious as to what you have against them and why you want them removed.

It is quite you have not interviewed his daughter Gladys Railey Mays, who is still living.
Thank you for the information about Westview Cemetery. This memorial was terribly mismanaged. I moved it to unknown as I researched the proper location, but have now abandoned that search, so the memorial is deleted as it properly should be. Hope your health is improving and that you are doing better. Prayers to you and God bless.

Do you know what has happened to the big Murphy Cemetery that is in Pavo or Coolidge? I cannot find it and the very least both names should be on it! The other cemetery is called Shade or Slade Murphy. My email address is email@example.com. Thanks, Brenda
