Layton Twp Cemetery
Hey, Erika, hope all is well. I found an article in the online "Walnut Bureau" dated August 14, 1896 on page 4 about Julius Rossmann. He is F.A.G. memorial number 111020715. Here's what it says:

DIED--Saturday morning, Julius, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Rossman died from cholera infantum after only seven hours sickness. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at their home one mile south of town. The remains were interred in the Walnut cemetery.

You can copy it to his bio if you think this is he. I'm wondering if the stone might have been done at a later date, and the family didn't remember the date for sure. Blessings, Barb

Transfer of Priess family, Walnut, IA
Hello Erika

I would appreciate it if you would transfer my mother's grandfather's family to my management, so I can link everyone together and make it easy for the family to visit the different cemeteries.

Judy S
"Mother" Petersen Layton Twp cemetery
I put in an edit for her first name to be changed to "Margarita" that hasn't gone through yet. I found her on the 1920 and 1930 censuses for Pottawattamie county living with my grgrgrandparents with her son John. Her surname was "Rathjens" as she was a widow at that time. It would be nice if she had her given name shown.
Thank you for all your work - it's greatly appreciated!

Steve Cole
Old Salem Presbyterian Cemetery
You recently added two names to the Old Salem Presbyterian Cemetery in Collierville, TN, with a request for Photo. They were: Robert DAVIS(1756 - 1839) and Jane DAVIS(1765 - 1839). The names of those buried in this cemetery is listed in Clarene Russell's book "Collierville, Tennessee; Her People and Neighbors". There are no DAVIS names listed in this cemetery in this book. I will call MRs. Russell and see if she can help locate them.
