Did you have any luck finding out more about Columbia Beem?
|Richard Searles||Olson in Homer cemetery|
What can you tell me about the Carrie Olson you have listed in Homer cemetery? The reason I ask is that based on her obituary in the Dayton paper and other family ancestry, we believe tis is the first wife of my wife's great grandfather's brother, Ole G Olson. This would mean she was born Anne Karine Thime in 1852 in Stavanger, Norway, Married to Ole Gabriel Olson & emigrated to Iowa in about 1881. Her husband remarried in 1884 and retired to Chicago. Ole died in Chicago on 31-Mar-1919, and was shipped to Iowa for burial, most likely with his first wife Anne who went by Carrie. Together Ole & Carrie had two sons, Halvor and Ingebret. We believe (but have no solid proof) that Ingebret died young and would likely be buried with his mother. What sources can you recommend to find other Olsons buried in this cemetery?
Thank You .... Rick & Karin (Olson) Searles

George was a twin; I was never told that the other survived birth nor if it was a girl or boy. My Mom lead me to believe that the baby died before birth. I do know that Columbia is not their child; just George and John are. If you find any information please let me know. Thank you so much!

|Cook Olson||Columbia Beem|
Columbia Beem is not the child of Joseph Oliver and Sarah Rose (Rooker) Beem. Joe and Sarah are my great grandparents and they had only two boys: George Henry and John Harold. George never married and had no children. John had two children Robert Harry Beem and my mother, Helen (Beem) Scarborough. George was a twin (born in 1894) and the other twin died - I have no knowledge if the twin was named or buried. Columbia is not that child though.

I have been asked to link family members for my Great Aunt Ruth. If not related could you transfer her memorial to me. I can always transfer it back. We called her Aunt Susie.

Christopher Thompson's memorial
I was told that if you add
Father: Kristoffer Torgersen
Mother: Anna (née Larsdtr) Torgersen
then it will show the connections to the other siblings.
My husband's G grandfather Christopher C Thompson is also a son of Kristoffer and Anna
