I noticed on Mary's find a grave page you are listed as a distant relative and I was just wondering how you are related to her? She is my 2nd great grand aunt, sister to Minerva, my 3rd great grandmother. We haven't been able to find anything about their parents at all so was just seeing if you might know anything?!?
Thanks so much!!

Seen you had placed flowers there back in 2013 saying you are a distant family member. How are you related to my dad.

I have seen your name popping up on flowers for my family members lately. I was surprised to see one left for my father (Thank you). I would love to know how we are connected

Hi..I'm just starting to try and piece together a family tree. My father is Gerald clayton Grant. His parents were Jessee Dee Grant and Minnie (Jones)Grant. Due to multiple marriages on both sides, other family members surnames include Polk, Fortune, Shank, Ferguson and Russell. Areas included Hatfield, Rockport, Tell city, Jasper (Indiana) and Owensboro, Kentucky Any help that can be offered to connect me with family lines is greatly appreciated. thanks...Marisa
|Earl Deatherage||Abner Deatherage 1810-1886|
Judy Russell: Abner Deatherage was a brother
of Bird Deatherage 1805-1880. Bird was my
g g g grandfather. Abner (Sr) was Bird's
father. Elizabeth Morrison Deatherage was
not the mother of Abner (Jr). I believe his
wife (Abner 1810-1886) is buried at Edgmond
cemetery in Tenn. Sure would like to know
who Bird & Abner (Jr)'s mother was. Are there
any descandants of Abner 1810-1886 living?
I have found the old Deatherage home place in
Roane Co., Tn. Abner's parents were George
Deatherage 1740-1807 & Nancy Johnson ca 1748-
1780. George's father was William Deatherage.
I am 73 and live in Nashville, Tn.
|Christie Cole Logan||RE: Robert Russell and Martha Hunter Cole Russell|
Hi Judy, thank you for your note. It was 50/50 if Russell was your maiden or married name. :-)
About the Albins, YES, I would be very interested to learn information on Margaret Albin that married Capt John Hunter. I have in my tree that her father is James Albin b 1642 d 1722 and her mother is Ann Margaret Yeoman b 1646 d 1693.
I descend direct from Stephen Cole and Martha Hunter, daughter of John and Margaret Albin Hunter.
No rush, but I would be most happy to correspond with you. My e-mail address is in my profile bio if you are comfortable communicating directly.
Take care, Christie Cole Logan
