Jacob and Eliza Addy Marlatt
I saw you posted flowers at Jacob Marlatt and his wife Eliza Addy Marlatt's memorials. I am writing to let you know I have moved their memorials to another cemetery. It turns out there are two Hopewell Cemeteries in Guernsey Co., Ohio. One is next to Indian Camp and the other is south of Cambridge. The cemetery near Indian Camp is the correct one. If you would like to leave flowers at the new memorials, please do.

Jacob Marlatt 111978347 and Eliza Addy Marlatt 111978523

I am deleting the other (wrong) memorial.

Thank you, Diane Beets Moore 47235487

I just sent an edit to the creator of her pg.

She is placed in the wrong cem. so if she is 'transferred' to the proper cem., I think your request will get 'lost'/not transfer w/ her pg. so...

Check periodically so see if her pg. is moved & IF you will have to re-req. a photo...but be warned that there may not be a readable marker available to take a photo of b/c many of the markers in that cem. are illegible, missing or never had engravings on them.

According to the info I have she & her husb., Tho., are in the same cem.

Correct cem.:
Quaker Cem. (aka Friends Cem.)

RE: E WWilson, TW Wilson
You're welcome, but I really don't think that these are the people you are seeking. This is a Quaker cemetery, and they did not put up stones at all until the late 19th C. It was considered too "showy". Have you checked the meeting minutes to see if they are listed as buried there? If they were not Quakers and part of this meeting (church), they probably were buried somewhere else. Did they live in or near Barnesville?

RE: Photos for Esther and Benjamin Pearson
I took better photos of Benjamin and Esther Pearson headstones. The sun was hitting it so you can read the stones. Check out their memorials for the new photos.

I agree, that the stones are just so old that most of the old ones cannot be read, or just have crumbled away.

Sorry,

Susan I seached all over this morning and couldn't find any of your 3 grave requests for William Miles & Benjamin & Esther Pearson. I've found just a few stones earlier that 1860's. I did add some Miles stones that I found and Pearson's.

Sorry
