Fifth generation Iowan. I enjoy taking time to research the family relationships behind each photo that I capture, using data from public records to add and suggest links and corrections where appropriate.|
If you are related to a person whose memorial I have added, please do not hesitate to request a transfer. I am pleased to have been able to honor your loved one's memory in some small way.

Thank you so very much for the updates on my grandmother and great grandmothers graves. The picture you took of my grandmother grave was so much better, that I am deleting mind. I did not know my grandmother, as she died young, but do remember my great grandmother. Once again, thank you

What wonderful work you have done to document so many Iowa cemetaries - thank you!
I was wondering if you might consider transferring the Furleigh family graves interred in the following cemetary:
Clear Lake Cemetery
Cerro Gordo County
All these folks are my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great grandparents. I checked each one listed and it appears every one of them listed were entered by you. I have previously added photos to some and added details to others and would continue to do the same if i managed them...Thanks again for your consideration.. All the best Dwight Furleigh

Hello and many thanks for the transfer, that was very kind and very much appreciated.
|Kerry Kimball||RE: Mary Jane Blackerby Jones|
Thanks for the quick response.
Yes, my grandmother's parents were William E. and Margaret J Jones. Seems like there was a whole bunch of Jones' that immigrated from Wales and they just kept marrying each other. :)
I might be able to help with the Blackerby tie.
Mary J and Lemuel D had 10 children, one of which was Lyle, my uncle. Lyle was married to Helen Omega Blackerbv, daughter of Henry and Anna May (Trumbell) Blackerby.
Hope that helps.
I just recently subscribed to Ancestry.com and with the help of my cousin, Sandy (Lyle's daughter) I've been able to gather quite a bit of information about my ancestors. Between Ancestry.com and findagrave.com, I should be able to put together a fairly comprehensive family tree.
Many thanks for your contributions and assistance in helping families find their history.

Thanks so much for the recent Oakland SACs. You are doing fantastic work. I am wondering about my memorial for William F Shepard #87464063, d 1930. I noted him as being in Block 12, and for some reason I noted that he was next to William & Laurena Wadsworth (they are in Block 12, according to your SAC and the Oakland eCIMS website). But the Oakland eCIMS website lists William Shepard d. 1930 as being in Block 5, with several other Shepards. I suppose I will just leave it as is unless you have any thoughts on his location. Thanks again for your wonderful work. Happy Spring!
