Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008.On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's side were pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into the western states. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive.I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MEMORIALS TO RELATIVES OF ANYONE WHO I HAVE ADDED, PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT PART OF MY OWN CLOSE FAMILY. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE TO REQUEST TRANSFERS. YOU MAY ALSO USE ANY PHOTOS THAT I HAVE TAKEN FOR YOUR FAMILY TREES, ETC. PLEASE USE THE NEW "EDIT" TAB ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE TO REQUEST CHANGES, CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS ON MEMORIALS THAT I HAVE POSTED. Hello Ken Doty Brown,
My 3rd great grandfather, Peter Bowman, was born in (1835) Pennsylvania and died in (1894) Boonton,

As is stated below, near the bottom, you created a memorial (# 93554438) and added a record on: Jul 13, 2012.
When you did the following, do you happen to remember if my great grandfather (Peter Bowman) and his wife (Anna M. Bowman) had any tombstones at their gravesite?

Yes, you marked her with a candle and said "Mother of 7" Annie Hopkins Sweeney, D. 1941
Buried First Presb. Succasunna N.J. That's where I found your name and link.
She is my Maternal Great Grandmother.

Hi Ken, I see your message on my Sweeney Family at Find a Grave. Do you have a connection to the family?? I have also retired, and am trying to work on several trees. Would appreciate any info.

I also do not see any record for Clementine at Sand Hill, WPA, or Stones and Sites. There are stones that are down and some misplaced at Sand Hill. Will continue to search there.
Thanks, Daisy Wingert

Ken, thank you for finding my mother's headstone. I had knowledge she was laid to rest in Locust Hill, however because of my dysfunctional family, I did not know if she was buried or cremated. I was fortunate to find out she had passed away by chance while making my weekly call to her nursing home in NJ (I live in Florida). Just as I was not contacted about her death by her daughter, I was not contacted about her burial. Thank you again.

Hi Ken: I see you have a photo request for W F Filloon at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
According to cemetery directory, there is not a stone for him ( that is still standing anyway). It does list his birth date as 11 Nov 1862 and death date as 20 Aug 1907.
I can send you a copy of that information if you like.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Ken Have asked find a grave to add this info you sent about her being buried there but no grave location was listed
Thanks for info :)
|Paul Heady Hubert||RE: Joseph Fernandez|
Joseph Fernandez should be with a Barbara Greene... I dont think he is amongst any other Fernandez' and any other Fernandez' are other families. It's a fairly common name in the Dover area now. Thanks for your effort!
|Paul Heady Hubert||William and Edith (Best) Heady|
I saw you completed my photo requests but there were no stones in the photo with their names on them. I assume they dont have a stone then and this is just the grave then?
