Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008. Life long profession is retail bank management. On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's father side were basically pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into some western states such as Nebraska, Oregon, California and Kansas. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive. I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MEMORIALS TO RELATIVES OF ANYONE WHO I HAVE ADDED, PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT PART OF MY OWN FAMILY TREES.PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE. YOU MAY ALSO USE ANY PHOTOS I MADE FOR YOUR FAMILY TREES, ETC.

 | Robert Beach and his parents Ken, Thanks for the info. I will leave it as is for now. It would be good to find records that confirm that Robert and his mother Eva are definitely in the Rockaway cemetery. Dave Peck | | | M Bensh

 | Rockaway I grew up in Rockaway..It's fun to see a fellow graver from my home town recording the history of that area. Moved there in 1955, so all my people are elsewhere in the Metro area. Thank you for your work in Rockaway, I recognize many many names. | | | | [View all messages...] |
