I simply love helping others with their family research - I have the bug, but it is a good one.|
I have been doing geneology research since 1982 back before computers and the ease it gives me now. I love a good mystery and don't stop until I conquer!
If I can help to take a picture for someone or give assurance of a grave marker, I will do it. My girls(ages 16 & 14)are even excited when we go 'scavenger hunting' and they too arm themelves with a camera and get excited when we find what we are searching for.
Lastly,if I have one of your family member memorials, just let me know so I can transfer ownership. This isn't about numbers for me - it is about family preservation!

No, I am not related. I am just maintaining this memorial. What is in the bio was there when I got it, added in by Book Goddess. It does not sound like an excerpt from an obit, so my guess is that it was in an article found in an old newspaper here and written by a man named Bob Hurley. He was always writing articles like this. Bob early this year, but the old newspapers can be found at the library here.

I was wondering what happened to you! Odd though, my problems haven't stopped yet. I did get out to Bakers Creek and dug up a lot of stones (literally had to scrape them off). Right afterward, I had another incident and have had an open wound since. I am scheduled for surgery on the 30th (next week, LOL). Sounds like we make a good pair for never meeting! This getting old is, well, getting Old!
I will contact you when I can be up and about again. Kind of strange though, every time I did cemeteries last year, I ended up with surgery or something else. Glad you are doing better. Am hoping to get back out there soon...
Thank you for the update!
Thanks so much for adding the pictures to my brother's memorial on Find-A-Grave. His name is
David Dallas Riffey at Sherwood Memorial Cemetery.
