New Shiloh Church in Thomasville
There is no cemetery named New Shiloh in Thomasville, I suggest this person be transferred to Wilson Cemetery, right up the road.

Ethel Adell Dempsey Tyre
Find A Grave Memorial# 39797548

This is just a heads up to let you know that I have submitted an edit to change the spelling of Ethel's middle name to match the middle name on her grave marker, i.e., from Adell to Adele.

Do you know if it was just a data entry error, or was there some list or source that showed the name Adell? I don't want to erase the trail to that source, if it exists. (I have already asked Donna McPherson.)

I'm guessing that you ended up with this Florida cemetery because the family has roots in Lowndes County.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Peterson's from Georgia
I see you are from the area my Grandfather's family lived. I have always wanted to come to that area. I am wondering where Neal Peterson's father, William is buried? I have a photo of him. I told my granddaughter one day we might have that mystery solved.

RE: Hiram Ray of Barnwell Co., SC
In my family tree is Hiram Ray 1814-1882, He was born to Charles Ray and Jane Jeter. He was born in Barnwell County, SC and died in Berrien County, GA. Elias Still Ray Sr was my great great grandfather. He moved from Barnwell to Liberty Co. Georgia. His son Elias Still Ray Jr and another brother, Charles(different one) then moved to Berrien Co, GA. My grandfather was Cursey Ray of Berrien and my grandmother Pauline Mikell from Ray City. I show Hiram's daughter Joann married Hi ram Griner and their son Daniel married my great aunt Donne Ray. Your great grandfather Charles was the son of Benjamin Ray and a Rachel. Some list that same Benjamin as my 2x great grandfather Elias Still Ray's father which have made Hiram, Elias Still Ray's nephew. I am still working on confirming Benjamin's tree line as their was more then one, Benjamin's father was also a Benjamin. I will be visiting the graves of Elias Still Ray in Liberty Co, GA, Benjamin Ray in Bamberg, SC as well as others buried in Barnwell Co, SC the week after Easter on a road trip. If you will send me your email I will give you access to my Ray tree. I will possibly be in Ray City, GA for either the Mikell or Ray Reunions this year if I am back from Nicaragua on a Sabbatical Leave. My main email is Billy Ray
