One Final Gift

Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer

Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.

It saddens me when a there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why
I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

RE: A. Maria Schmidt @ S. Murray Ridge
No problem. Thanks for the good eyes! Oh, btw - wanted to let you know that I found a few duplicate entries at N. Murray Ridge Cemetery that I'll send along shortly. There seem to be a lot more duplicates at S. Murray Ridge, entered by rdhdmomx4. I'll contact her (Renee) as well. Thanks again.

A. Maria Schmidt @ S. Murray Ridge
I believe the plaque that someone placed is in error with that birth date of 1803. Her original tombstone indicates she was 40 years old at the time of her death in 1849. I think I will leave as 1809 for now, until can look into further.

I see we are both doing Rest Haven in Avon. Were you able to pick up the thank you for your service you asked about. You can add any "flower" you see buy putting it in your scrapbook.

RE: Melanie Arlene Hruby
My pc crashed and I cant do anything from my phone as of yet. If you want to make the changes and transfer it back over to me thats fine. I went off the information her sister and mother gave me.

RE: thanks
Yes, I agree. I suppose that is why we are trying to get photos now while we can (when they exist).

Thanks again

RE: Lloyd R.
Not saying middle name is incorrect. It is showing as a nickname.
