Bio Photo My goal is to make someone out there just as excited as I get when I find a long ago relative.
I find cemeteries generally very peaceful. And it's a way to get my much needed exercise.

If I have entered something wrong, please tell me! I WANT to correct it.

ATTENTION: Please understand we were flooded out of our home in Sept.2011. Request to find people will be slow or impossible to fulfill at this time. Sorry. Hunter

John Vaughan Morgan
Hunter,

My name is Timothy Rawson, find a grave member number 47314535. Thanks for transferring Hazel M. Morgan to me.

I found Hazel M. (Mackinder) Morgan's husband. His name is John Vaughan Morgan, Memorial # 60428017. Can you transfer John Vaughan Morgan to me please? I found John's parents as well, John Milford and Elizabeth Morgan.

Thank you very much!

Hazel M. Morgan
Hi! My name is Timothy Rawson. I am a find a grave member 47314535. I want to request either a transfer of Hazel M. Morgan, Mem # 60427997 to me (she is my second cousin) or that you add the following information to her biography.

"Hazel M. Morgan's maiden name is MacKinder. She was the daughter of Henry Wright and Mary Ellen (Garbutt-Abbott) MacKinder."

That is all for now, I am working on verifying her spouse and childrens's names.

Regards,

Timothy Rawson

Providence Cemetery
Hi Hunter!

I am searching for pictures of my great great grandparents graves. They are buried at Providence Cemetery in Scranton. Joseph (Judah) Feldman and Leba Feldman.

I would be grateful for any picture you could get for me - There were reportedly a child or 2 that died young and could possibly be buried there as well.

I would appreciate ANYTHING!!

Thanks,

Denise

I have quite a few relatives buried in this cemetery and was wondering if you would be willing to look for some of them for me as I live 3 hours away. I don't need photos just birth and death dates and any additional names on the headstone that I may not be aware of. Thank you.

Dear Hunter

Thank you very much for the valuable information you sent to me regarding our Sister Leo Hawley who died in 1876. I have sent this obituary information to our Archives office and will put in online here on the website momentarily.

Roch Smigiel and Family
Hunter,

Thank you so much for taking the photo of Roch Smigiel and members of his family. I've been researching my family for over a year now. My great grandfather immigrated to Duryea, PA from Piatkowizna Poland. His brother Pawel was already there. I found his passage record and found that there was another brother Roch, who I am almost positive is the same Roch Smigiel you have captured in the photo. Kathy Krysiak has been very helpful passing information along to me. She and I have been working with Stan Mozdzen in MA. Stan is looking for his family connections to Duryea as well. My great grandfather Frank Smigiel married Eva Mozdzen. I know that Frank arranged for a burial plot at the Holy Rosary Cemetary. I know that you went there but were not able to enter because of safety issue. I think there was damage when there was flooding last year. I would really appreciate it if you get a chance to go there again when the cemetery can be accessed, that you take photos of any Smigiel gravestones you find. My family tree is on ancestry.com under my tree name of Mietus-Smegiel-Bolivar Family Tree or look up Roch Smigiel and you can access it that way. I plan to make a trip to Duryea later this year, hopefully being able to spend a few days researching.

Thanks again for taking the photos.

Sandy
