Ebenezer Paine Sr and Jr
I am so very appreciative of all your excellent work and fine photographs. You have added to my family quest exponentially.

This is my problem
You have entered - accurately - the headstone for Ebenezer Pain in Old Chatham Cemetery. In our family history it is spelled PAINE, so this is relatively lost.

The complication is there is another memorial entry in Brewster Old Burying Grounds. Is this a kindly, but incorrect entry, or is there actually a headstone for his son, Ebenezer Paine Jr, whose date of death and resords are not established. They are not established for his wife Susannah Hall Paine either.

I hope you can help resolve this. Regardless, you have done outstanding helpful work.

RE: Billie Keen
You are very welcome. It was close to closing when I took the photos and just when I was finished the lights were turned off. The custodian walked by the niche room but he didn't know I was there. I said hello to him and I swear he jumped a foot off the floor. I'm glad he didn't have a stroke but we both had a good laugh from it. Sorry to be so long winded but thought you might like to hear this.

You're welcome, as always :)

I have MANY more pictures to take!! The cemetery is at 7% now. But that's just of the memorial's that are added to FindAGrave...... not mentioning how many are actually buried there. It's a long road but we'll get there!

Regards,

Christine S

St. Francis Xavier Cemetery Centerville, MA
Morning

Noticed that you have taken the picture of this cemetery. I have a relative buried there, Noble Chase died May 15, 1943. I am looking to find out if his wife is buried with him - don't have her date of death and the location of the grave. Would you happen to know how to get in touch with this cemetery?

Thank you
Margaret

RE: Marcus Stoddard.
Yes, St Peter and Paul cemetery is the one on Dugway road. I talked to the undertaker as to why that cemetery has two names. The west side of the cemetery is called St. Peter and Paul. The east side is St. Patrick. There is a huge statue in the back that separates the two. There is no entrance sign that I could photograph. Would that statue work as an identifier? I could stand on the hill at the west end and get a pretty good shot of the whole cemetery. Would that be better?
