My love of genealogy began with my parents who did a great amount of research on each of their families. This was before they died in the 1970's. I didn't want their research to be lost or forgotten. So I began to do further research adding information to their records, and most of all to share all of the research with extended family. I love the challenge of finding records of proof for each date given.

You have my permission to use the gravestone pictures I have submitted to Find A Grave for your genealogy records, along with a notation giving me credit for them.

Please do not print out a biography I have written on any Memorial page and add that biography to ancestry or any place else. Content submitted on Find A Grave is copyrighted.

As I work on my family's genealogy I have added names of family and where they are buried so I can share that information with extended family members, and the burial locations will not be lost. As I continue to find information I sometimes change a biography and its contents to reflect what I have found.

Find A Grave is a wonderful place to help us with our genealogies. The dedicated members who take time to record hundreds of burials that are in a cemetery, take photographs of their graves and post that information so we can find them, is a wonderful help to all of us. They are truly dedicated members. As are the ones who volunteer to answer people's requests for photographs. For generations to come this information will be preserved. (C. (Hill) Krueger

I've added it. Do you have any idea where she was originally from?

Hi again. Didnt want you to think I forgot you. Just returned home and have not gotten my system up yet. As soon as I do I will send the photo. And by the way, my brother-in-law has family in that cemetery. He tells me that it is to become a Historical Cemetery because it dates back to the 1600's. That means they cannot sell the cemetery and move the graves. Because the church is up for sale he was worried about his parents graves. Anyway as soon as I can I will send the photo. Joz

Edmund Lord # 9401032
Hi again. I just reviewed my original photos and I'm sorry to say the original photo is very poor. It was taken in June of 2004. However, the next time you go, as you are walking in from the parking lot, look about half-way down toward the back on the left side. Look for a large marker for "Pitt" which is on the left at the walkway. Three others to look for are Bardsley, Litzenberg and Hedriek. They are all in the vicinity. "Pitt" is a large marker and you should't have any trouble locating that one. If you look on the photo of the cemetery put on by Bill Bloom on the memorial page, and enlarge it, I believe the marker for Mr Lord to be in back of the bushes on the left, half-way down. I hope this is of some help to you. If you want to send me an e-mail address, I would be happy to send you a photo of the "Pitt" marker as a reference. Have a good day, Joz. By the way, when do you usually travel to Pa? Perhaps we can meet if you need help.

RE: Edmund Lord No. 9401032
Wow, Thank You. I looked at the memorial and judging from the photo, I have to assume I could not read it then either. I photographed that cemetery in one day but at present am not at my residence. When I arrive home in May, I'll see if I can figure out which section it may have been in. Also, that cemetery is in my area and when I get a chance I will try to get over and at least give you an area to look and others around it. Also, from my handwritten spread sheets I may be able to give you some names in the area to look for the next time you are here. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Also, did you know that the church closed a couple years ago. As far as I know, it is for sale but I'm assuming the cemetery will be left as it is. At least I hope so. Thanks again, Joz
