I have been doing genealogy for the past few years on a daily basis.|
I always remember my Grandma McBride saying we were related to Abraham Lincoln, but had no proof. (This was before computers)Now I know she knew what she was talking about.
I am doing genealogy on:
Brown / Hank Family
McBride / Conner Family
Schoenenberger / Wheeler Family
Hutt / Weston Family
Foust / Blackford Family

|Larry Hart||Mabel Mary Smith Foust & Family|
My name is Larry E. Hart (e-mail hartlarrye@Yahoo.com). I live in Des Moines, Iowa, and according to the 1910 Iowa Census Mabel Mary Smith Foust (1895-1975) was my Uncle (Charles William "Bill" Smith's) eldest sister. Their parents were William H. Smith (1853-1937) and Pinettie ? (b. 1866). they had 8 children, the 6th of which was my Uncle "Bill". "Bill's dates were (1902 or 1903 - 1963). His daughter-in-law and I have been seeking ANY info regarding William H. Smith (without success) I recently located his probable burial site at Avon Cemetery, just southeast of the city of Des Moines, Iowa. I would love to have ANY bits & pieces that might be "out there" to add to what I have. There are other Smith's buried at that cemetery, one of which I grew up believing was my Uncle's parents (Percy & Sylvia Smith) but their dates don't even come close. These people were still children when my Uncle was born (1903). I have quite a lot of info about them (Percy & Sylvia), but none of it ties to me. I'm hoping you might be of some assistance in my endeavors. If NOT, I'd appreciate hearing from you saying that as well. By the way, I have considerable data regarding Mabel Mary Smith Foust and her 2 husbands (Charles an Pelt & Leo Foust). I will eagerly await any response you can send. in the meantime, IF there is any way I can be of assistance to your efforts, let me know that as well. "Thanks again !"
Larry E. Hart

I'm told that "Bradley Jenkins is very much alive"! The grave site to which you referred in your Find A Grave request is where Brian Joseph Jenkins, b. 6/18/75 and d. 3/20/10 is buried. It is a large family plot. Cemetery records list Sandra E. (Tracy) Jenkins and BRADLEY Jenkins as his parents; Mindi (Combs) Jenkins is shown as his wife.
What do you want to do?

Hi Cindy, thank you for the suggested edits, which I accepted. Do you have a connection to the Alverson's? I would be happy to transfer them to you if you are interested. Regards,

Hi Cindy. I'm trying to get a hold of the heirs of Rose H. Wilcox for some oil rights. You took her grave picture. Her husband E.L. Wilcox owned them and they are still in his name. He died in 1967.
Hi Cindy! Thanks for all you do for find a grave! I am wondering if you would transfer Reuben Abbott's memorial to me. He is my direct line ancestor. I am descended from his oldest son, John (with 1st wife Leah). Thanks so much, Iris

I have linked Cheryl to her parents as requested. In case you are not aware, Findagrave has changed their Edit system to where now others can fill in the date, place and link information, then all the contributor has to do is Accept or Decline it. I realize that many contributors do not know about this still, so just thought I would mention it. Thanks for the links!

You are welcome :) the cemetery isn't far from me so the only problem has been reading some of them. I'm trying to get most of them filled. Happy 4th to you too!
|Dave||RE: Thomas Wheeler|
I found a Kim Wheeler marker 5-51 1-2010 in section 1 lot 202 with all the other wheelers I couldn't find her in the data base so I went into the office and check, their's no record of her burial, I'll make a cenotaph for her. I also made memorials for all the other family members that wasn't in Find A Grave if you them transferred to you just let me know.
