Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been fascinated by the history of just about anything; antiques, houses, people. That has led me to cemeteries more than once. I also enjoy seeing unique grave monuments in cemeteries, especially those built in the Victorian era. Many people find this a peculiar part of my personality. I don't know when I first realized that I liked to go through graveyards as a recreation but I think it has something to do with the fact that I pratically lived right next door to the Millington Cemetery in Illinois at my grandma's house. And since then I have bought a digital camera I have been able to make many photo contributions to this site. If you have relatives' or friends' graves and they are close to where I live, I would be glad to photograph them if you can't.

Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. Also, thanks for your caring, kind words. Traci was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!

This is something I wrote for Traci:

It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.

As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.

I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"

Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.

photo of Reuel Nathan Owen
Could I please use this photo for my family tree and are there any other Owen graves near this one at Millington Cemetery?

Millington-Newark Cemetery
I see that you submitted a photo of this cemetery to Find A Grave. I am wondering if on one of the signs at that entrance there you saw a telephone number for a contact for the cemetery. I have a great, great, great grandmother buried there...I think. She was Ann Miller, 1808-1856, wife of Jacob W. Miller. There is a grave for someone by that name, but I need more info, if possible. I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks

Sheridan Cemetery
Hi - I noticed you photographed the gate for the Sheridan Cemetery at Find A Grave. Do you know if that is the only cemetery in Sheridan? The reason I ask is I am trying to find the burial place for George A. Law and his wife, Margaret. George's death record says he was buried at Sheridan. They are my cousins. Gloria

Anthony Badgley Newark Millington Cemetery
Hello Amber:

Thanks for the photo of Anthony Badgley's monument. I appreciate receiving it. Is there any process I could use to make the inscription a bit more readable?

You took a photo of his headstone and posted on here. I was just wondering if you happened to know him? Just curious.

Hiram W. Bartram
I found a picture on the record for Hiram W. Bartram, 48825400, that you uploaded to it. The name on the headstone pictures is for a Edward W. Miller - why; what is the connection between the two.
