Genealogy is one of my hobbies, the others being Jane Austen, movies, website design, and my job.|
And, of course, I love visiting cemeteries and photographing headstones for people. There are some cool, out-of-the-way country cemeteries here in Mississippi, so it's sort of a road trip and a scavenger hunt rolled into one, and you can't beat the feeling of helping people!
If you are the friend or relative of anyone on a record I've added, I will be glad to transfer the admin/ownership over to you, so just let me know. I'm not here for the numbers.
Feel free to use any photo I've uploaded to this site for your family tree on Ancestry or wherever. You don't have to ask. Credit would be nice, but it's not like I'm going to go looking.
The link on my profile will take you to the genealogy site I maintain for my family.
In memory of my sister, Emma Louise Baldwin King (1988-2011).

|Carolyn Allen||Glenn Bryant|
Thank you for the unexpected transfer . Glenn and his wife Ellen Bryant who just passed away were the parents of friends of my brother and I . The couple were good friends of my parents . As I was growing up both families were members of the same small country church . So it is special for me to now manage Glenn Bryant's page and to have created Ellen Bryant's memorial page . I will work on the pages more . I just opened the email and quickly decided not to wait any longer to create a page for Ellen Bryant before writing this thank you message after a day visiting kin in Lee county and visiting 2 cemeteries in Itawamba county and working on adding photos , creating pages , making links , and requesting links and edits after I returned home . It has been a full but fun day . However , I will add bios in time for both pages . Thank you for creating Glenn's page and for all the work you do as a Find A Grave volunteer .

Dares are 1894-1966. Create a memorial for her and I will post the photo's.
Looks like we were both working on MS Smiths at the same time this morning. Sorry if I requested an edit that you had just entered. Wayne

Many thanks for transferring Jeff Gaston's memorial to my care. I appreciate all of the incredible work you are doing here at Find-a-Grave. It is invaluable to all who are doing research on their ancestors. ~ George Gaston
