Bio and Links
Bio Photo Recently was gifted with generous people in the Ontario, Canada area who went out of their way to locate graves and other family material for me as I researched the Stewart/Jones/White family line. It was so fantastic that I decided to return the favor.

Starting while on a trip to Pennsylvania, my husband (being the great guy that he is) went around with me to "document some cemeteries". We found Stoddartsville Cemetery and took pictures of over 80 graves. After posting the pictures, someone contacted me wondering about my relationship to the cemetery. When I told them that I was simply returning a favor they were floored. Since then I have photographed Blakeslee Cemetery in PA and met with a grassroots ad hoc committee that is trying to keep the Stoddartsville Historic District maintained and documented. It has been great fun and very interesting.

Being our family historian, I am very interested in the following family lines: Stewart, Easley, Whitton, Davis, Harrell, Ellington, Cliett, White, Ridgeway and many more.

Submit a lot of profiles, information and stories to www.ancestry.com. Along with that I try to provide a link to individual www.findagrave.com profiles.

Very happy to photograph cemeteries in the San Diego County or Orange County areas of California. If you have updated information for any of my postings please let me know. Very happy to update information as it comes to me.

Warmly,

Laura Breite

120651842 Earny rex - dulicate
120651842 Earny Rex that you have posted is a copy of another record in the same cemetery. Could you look into perhaps deleting yours? Only because the other has a photo of his headstone.

Thank You, Laura
Your "favor" has blessed another family. I am still in awe that I have found a 2+ yr old aunt. I have also added many pieces to a puzzle of another ancestor. My family and I thank you for blessing us by your generosity.

Sincerely

Beth K

James Silas Altice
Laura, James Silas Altice (1857-1936) is actually buried in the Altice Cemetery (there are several "Altice Cemeteries in Franklin County VA) off Greenhouse Road in Glade Hill. I know this because this small family cemetery is behind our home at 833 Greenhouse Road. You will find this cemetery on Find-A-Grave---look-up his son, Calvin J. Altice (1893-1918) who is buried next to him. I have a photo of his headstone, if you like. regards

Attempted to fulfull your photo request today. This cemetery has many unmarked graves - the cemetery does put a brick marker in place for those burials without stones. Many of these bricks have become buried and grown over with grass. Based on the age of this burial - I am guessing that is what has happened. The cemetery staff will attempt to find the brick and uncover it for a family member.
Interesting that in the area of section 57lot 38 we did find another Toler - the name is charity Ann Toler with dates of March 19 1876 to May 9 1931. I have added this to find a grave.
Sorry we could not fulfill your request.
