John Chessman
Perhaps you can use this information that was taken from a book History of Guilhall, Vermont.
John Chessman came with his wife from Lancaster about 1873; bought the Basset farm on which their son, John F. they have since resided. They are both industrious, hard working men. John F. married a Miss Masure, a lady whose parents resided in Guildhall for a number of years.

Rosebrook Family
Hi James...my name is Wendy and the Rosebrooks you listed in the Nellie Smart Cemetery, in Vermont, on Find A Grave are part of my very large Rosebrook Family. I would like to tie them together and have a question or two if you would not mind. Thank you in advance for your time...Wendy

Thank you for reminding me of the caption. We have had stormy weather and I am a bit more ditzy than usual or I would have noticed !
Take care.

Thanks for your generosity in tracking down this gravestone for me. I am trying to ascertain if this is the correct Stephen that is a Mower descendant - I was hoping for a little additional info on the gravestone - you know how it is, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not! Your photo is great and it is very much appreciated.

I hope the hurricane hasn't caused much damage in your area, we seemed to have only caught the edge of the storm here in Bangor.
