Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.

Here are my thoughts on this stuff.

Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's them with it.

TRANSFERS: I transfer on a case by case decision. If for any reason, you can't maintain the memorials I've transferred to you, I'll be more than happy to take it back...please don't ask for a transfer of group surnames.

PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in if they're in my family tree. MY ONLY REQUEST IS THAT MY PICTURES AREN'T LIFTED AND PLACED ONTO A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL OR MEMORIAL LISTED AS UNKNOWN....thanks again in advance.

EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.

FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask to remove it.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. I will gladly delete mine IF IT WAS CREATED AFTER YOUR MEMORIAL. Please keep in mind that some duplicate memorials are actually cenotaphs.

It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.

A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

Aunt Cestry
Joseph Wilfred DUmont
Hi Connie,
I recently submitted some edits for Joseph, which turns out were incorrect. Your posting his birth certificate to his memorial helped me to see the error of my ways. Amazingly, there are only 3 differing details between your Joseph and mine. His birth date, and his parents' names! Now I need to go into my tree and "consciously unmarry" Lottie to my Dumont.
Thanks for the input!

RE: Stanley W Shattuck
Hi Connie,

I wanted to give you an update on Stanley. The Portsmouth records don't go back that far. They have either been destroyed or re-located to an area that is unknown. I have sent an inquiry to the funeral home mentioned in the obit, but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm still searching...

RE: I'm confused
Hi Connie,
So sorry I didn't give you enough information. :D
I was on Ancestry researching Mary O'Brien and I got a hint stating that I could click a link and be taken to Mary O'Brien's Find a Grave information. When I clicked the link, but it went to Patrick Clark's listing instead. Patrick's listing showed that you were the person "in charge" of it :D so I thought perhaps there was some type of mistake made when the link was established. I don't know how the links are established so I wasn't sure how to correct the mistake. Does that make more sense?

Thanks so much,

RE: St Peter Cemtery Gate picture
Hi Connie,

I am pretty sure I took all of the gate pictures down but if you notice one I missed let me know. Sorry, I just saw that the memorials did not have a gate photo so I had one similar and just put it up. Thanks for telling me before I put up a lot more. I am still new to all of this but I enjoy taking the grave photos and trying to get as many on the memorials as I can because there are thousands that still do not have them. Thanks again for the information.

RE: edits
You're welcome for the edits. It is an honor. Thank you for letting me know I don't need to send the sources, but if you ever have a question, please let me know.
God bless,

Alice Howland
Hi there,
wow, what a site. Alice Howland is my father's mother. He only found her when he was 38, they had too few years to know each other when she passed, only five years. Dad is now 85 in we have planned a trip to Littleton next month for final farewells and memories. We would not have known where grandma was if not for this site. alzheimer's has taken some memories away, so thank you.
would you happen to know if the cemetery would also have her final residence listed? I was in Littleton this past weekend but so much has changed. I was not sure if the house I located was really hers. my memories of visiting ate still in my 6-11-year-old mind that didn't pay a lot of attention to street names.
Thanks again

RE: Stanley W Shattuck
Hi Connie! I am working on getting that confirmation. The city clerk of Portsmouth is looking for a burial permit, which is a must have to be buried in New Hampshire. If that can be found, mystery solved. If not, I have some other potential sources to help clarify the resting place of Stanley.

Thank you so much for making this memorial for my great aunt. I did want to let you know that when I searched for her I did find a duplicate. #149570635. Yours was first, correctly shows Currier as her maiden name, has a better photo IMO, and has family connections on it as well. Thanks again!

Hi Connie! I did send the photo to Jocelyn and it looks like she removed something to put it up but you're right the other is still there.

I'm positive the new one is Amedee. I have the original photos and the original Mass card. Plus he looks so much like my Dad I can't miss it. :) I'm not sure who the other man is but I think he's older than Amedee when he died at 43.

My dad thinks the other man might be a Jacques but I'm looking for some additional photos to help her identify him if I can but I copied the photo so we don't need to leave it there. Could cause confusion.

As an aside, I added a link for Lucie Blouin and I'm trying to find my Aunt Lil to add her too. They were both daughters of Amedee & Edma as well. I'll link once I find her burial place.

Thank you for taking care of their memorial!
