Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in the western NC mountains, just across the SC state line, in Henderson County. I have been doing family research for over 30 years. I feel fortunate that I have been able to find the histories of most of my ancestors, and have contributed memorials to them on FIND-A-Grave. My family names include: LEVI, BANES/BAYNES, BATSON, JAMESON, BEATY, LaPIERRE, HORRY, GARNIER, HOLBERT, CAPPS, NELSON, FAURE/FORE, QUEEN, ELLIOTT, ELLISON, NEWMAN, NEWTON, Most are from the NC/SC area.

Mary Ann Arledge Hill
Mary Ann Arledge who married Manson Carson Hill, known as Carson Hill, was NOT the daughter of Levi Arledge.
She was the daughter of Jonathan A. Arledge and Harriett McCormick.
This is well documented.

Just a small way to pay honor to our ancestors and to say thank you for your work.

Rev. William Judd
I have been looking and can not find any information or relatives. if their is any information that I might add to his Find A Grave Bio. I would more than glad to add it. Do you know if it lists his parents?

Cornelius Capps
Thank you so much for your explanation. It is a lot of work keeping up with so much data/information. The date you cite coincides more closely to what I envisioned it to be. I went back and looked at the stone and with my magnifier and determined that Cornelius was listed first. I will go to the link for him. THANK YOU.

Cornelius Capps
You have him listed on William Capps Find A grave as a son of Capps and his wife Nancy Cooksey. Cornelius was born in 1845, according to the narrative, which is >30years after the "siblings". What can you advise?
