Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born the oldest child of my parents and the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family in Baker, Oregon in the year of 1938.

Married twice, raised four children and worked from the time I was 16 to the age of 62 when I retired.

As of this date I am a 70 year old widow. Mother of four children, two boys and two girls. I have 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with number 11 on the way.

I have had a very full life up to this point except for the loss of my husband of 37 years. He lovingly accused me of being obcessed with genealogy, although he loved seeing the pictures and reading the details I found in researching our families.

I got involved in genealogy when he became ill and I had to stay home more and more to care for him. Genealogy is my pasttime and probably social life now that he is gone. I still babysit for the great grandchildren so moms can work and do my research in the evenings.

RE: Elmer Jacob Wart
Feel free to take any pictures I'd added. My gr-gr grandma was Nellie Wart, Elmer's sister. I have a a really old photo album of hers filled with pictures of the Wart family, so I may have more of him.

RE: Mary West, Spencer, Keeley
Hi Lolita
Yes that's the photo I sent you a few years back taken with my Grandparents and my father when he was one, shortly before her death. Your caption mentions she married Oliver twice, which would make a lot of sense. Have you ever seen any proof of the second marriage? I suspect she may have married Keeley twice. As when my great grandfather Perry was born his birth certificate stated his mother was Mary Keeley. And her oldest son,Chester went by the Keeley name. For a while I wondered if I was really a Spencer, but my Ancestry DNA test proved I am a Spencer.

Did I ever send you the newspaper clippings of what let to Divorce number one?

One of these days we will find exactly where her grave is.

Mary K.

Could not find a photo in my photo library. When this heat leaves will go back and check. Good thing you have some additional location information. Will make it easier to find. Hope I just missed it the first time.

Joseph J Hogg
I found his grave this past weekend in the New Hope Cemetery, Louisburg, Dallas County, Missouri. In fact I have a picture of his tombstone. Just let me know if you want me to attach his photo to his record.

His wife is part of my ancestry that I have been working on the past 5 years.

RE: Jennifer
Does Jennifer have a sister named Teresa J Griggs that passed away in 2008? Mom's name Betty Guard-Gowler? If so my mom says she still lives here in Kelso...If this is correct, can we just call her and ask her about what she may know? If so, do you have a number for her to do so? We found Teresa's obit too if you want that? If it is correct info that is? Please let me know. We are going up to the cemetery Monday to see if we can find Jennifer's burial site, but maybe if we can talk to Betty, she may know if she even was buried or cremated, or if she even has a headstone to be able to find? That would help me out a lot if I had more info from Betty maybe? I hope...Thank you.

Hi hun, I have good news...I found her obit in the old newspapers. Do you want me to post it, or do you have a personal email that you would prefer me to send it to? I also got ahold of the church that was in charge of her, and I am waiting to hear back from them to find out where she is buried, and get all the info that they can give me on her :) also, if you want a copy of her death certificate, my mom said to tell you to go to Washington Vital Statistics, and you can request a copy of it, it only costs a few dollars. She passed on in Seattle, WA. but was taken care of here in Kelso, WA. Please let me know how you want me to get her obit to you...and I will let you know what more I find out, just as soon as the church gets back to me :)
