Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born the oldest child of my parents and the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family in Baker, Oregon in the year of 1938.

Married twice, raised four children and worked from the time I was 16 to the age of 62 when I retired.

As of this date I am a 70 year old widow. Mother of four children, two boys and two girls. I have 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with number 11 on the way.

I have had a very full life up to this point except for the loss of my husband of 37 years. He lovingly accused me of being obcessed with genealogy, although he loved seeing the pictures and reading the details I found in researching our families.

I got involved in genealogy when he became ill and I had to stay home more and more to care for him. Genealogy is my pasttime and probably social life now that he is gone. I still babysit for the great grandchildren so moms can work and do my research in the evenings.

Emma Caudle Find A Grave Memorial# 20708731
Thanks for the info about Mrs. Caudle's correct name and the info allowing me to link her with her husband. I have also transferred her memorial to you. I do apologize for the length of time it took me to do this.

RE: Raymond and Eileen Young
Hi,
You are very welcome. Glad I could help.
Something funny happened when I went to get the pictures. I got near the grave and a little bird flew up. It built a nest right near the Young's gravestone! It has 4 little tiny eggs in the nest. The bird looked like a Chickadee or some type or Wren or something. Why on earth it built its nest on the ground is quite odd. Next time the mowers mow the nest will probably be destroyed.
I could email you a couple pictures of the nest if you like and how close it is to the Young's gravestone.

Elzie Hughes
Actually, Elzie was killed in the Korean War not WW II as the information in Elvie's obit indicates. I knew the boys when we were growing up in Hatfield, Arkansas.

Tennie Lane Hayes
Hi, I came across your picture of Tennie Hayes. You list she had nine children, where we have only 5 in our records. Would you mind sharing the names, birth dates, and birth place of the other children so I can add it to our files?

Thanks so much!

Hi Lolita,

You took some pictures for F-A-G. Do you have info on the Hogg family, in particular documentation showing that Reuben Hogg's middle name was William? And that Mary Wisdom's middle name was Lay?

I sure would appreciate your help. Thank you.
