The only truly dead are those who have been forgotten.|
This year (2016) has been an extremely short year to date. However, it has been a very difficult year with the loss of family and friends.
Please give me a few days to check emails and do updates. I get to them ASAP. However, there is life out there beyond FAG and I live one with family, friends, work and other obligations along with some fun time too! Patience please. I do not just ignore them. This site is important to me too.

I noted on the gravesite for Christiane Florentine Alwine Pammel Gabel, #24852057, that you posted a picture of her headstone. She is the first wife of my Great-Grandfather. I have been to that cemetery many times and have never been able to find it. The other person on that headstone, is their infant daughter, Anna Gabel, who died on 12/10/1861. I created a record for their daughter Anna, if you would like to add that photo to that record, #166106923. Also, could I have your permission to use this gravestone picture in my Ancestry.com records, of which I would give you credit for the photo. Thank you for your consideration.

Hello Susanna, This record appears to be a duplicate of Record #5359776 which was created some 11-12 years earlier. Thought you might appreciate knowing so you can delete your record. Thank you so much.

First my sincerest sympathy on the sad year you have had with the losses of your family and friends.
Your name is familiar to me so I can't remember if I have asked you this in the past. Do you give permission to use your photos on Ancestry.com?
I always give the contributor the credit.

I am agreeing with Vicki Schmaeman, that Elizabeth Michael Lieurance does not belong in this family she is part of my family and was the mother of Fredrick Lieurance who was married to my 2nd Great Aunt, Mary Jane Smith.

I'm trying to find the original source of Elizabeth Michael, Henry Michael's sister, she was my 4th great grand aunt, she married David Puderbaugh, Fanny (Henry's wife) Puderbaugh's brother. She was born abt 1816 Montgomery OH not NC. Somehow whomever confused her with the Lieurance family. The Find A Grave is wrong and I'm trying to find out the facts.

I am requesting that you transfer this memorial to me so I may add information, or delete her from the Michael family.

I am very sorry to hear your loss.
Elizabeth Michael was my fourth great aunt, and our records don't agree with your information. Could you please verify where you found your information?
Our records - Death and Guardianship: In 1847 Henry Michael (1810-1861) married his second wife Fanny Puderbaugh (1820-1893). They had 8 children in addition to the 7 children from Henry‘s first marriage to Susanna Albaugh. In 1838, Fanny‘s brother David married Elizabeth Michael daughter of John Michael and Mary Ann Deardorff. David and Elizabeth had a daughter Mary Ann born about 1840. David died in 1841 and on October 9, 1841, the court appointed Elizabeth Puderbaugh and David Michael (Elizabeth‘s brother) administrators of the estate of David Puderbaugh. On May 12, 1843, Henry Michael was appointed guardian of Mary Puderbaugh aged about 3 years, heir of David Puderbaugh (deceased). Young Mary Ann became a member of the Michael family and was raised with her 15 cousins. Source: Family trees and Darke County, Ohio, Common Please Court Records, 1817-1860.
