I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open. |
I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct memorial. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.
I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.
You have my permission to use any photos I take for your family trees. Please credit me with taking those photos as CarolS on findagrave. Thanks.

|Brenda||RE: St James|
Hi, I am not related to the them either, however I am to the Bender line through the Stenger family and probably others if I look. Thanks for the offer, though. I will check with you if I find any that I am closely related to that I have more info to add. I love getting edits too!! :)

Well I owe you a thousand thanks!!. Those records helped so much on my maternal grandmother's side. Especially the Bohrer and Rentz families of NKy. I see you have requests at some local cemeteries I haven't visited but have ancestors at. I will keep my eye out for your requests if they haven't been fulfilled by the time I visit.

|JDM||Klump Memorials in Saint John Cemetery|
I wanted to thank you for the additional information you added to the Klump/Klumpp memorials in Saint John Cemetery. I just found these people today after researching for a long time. Louis and Carrie Klump are the 3G Grandparents of my S-I-L. I had Carrie's maiden name as Pleugher so I have some more researching to do to discover the Schmidling connection. The Schmidling buried in that same plot seems too young to be Carrie's mother. My S-I-L's 2G Grandmother is Emma Amelia Klump Wunder and I have been unable to find her in Find A Grave. Carrie lived with her in several censuses. Thank you again for your linking and info. Jill MacRae

I wish I had the source at my disposal now. I came across it in some notes I was keeping because I am working on one of your ancestor's business partners. Take a look at my memorial for Bernard Holters (1823-1878). I'll try to locate where I obtained the birthplace and send it your way.
