~ I like to photograph grave markers so that a historical record is forever captured of those who were here before us. If you keep your family tree online, feel free to use any photo I've taken to enhance your tree. All I ask is that you make a note indicating the photo was found on FindaGrave. That way others who may not be familiar with this website will be introduced.

Taphophilia: an abnormal love for graves and cemeteries. The love of walking cemeteries and finding lost relatives and the gravesites of ancestors. [thanks to member #47477171 for helping me self-diagnose :) ]

THE STORY TELLERS
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors.
To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.
Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before.
We are the story tellers of the tribe.

RE: Robinson /Flynn family in Toledo Ohio
You helped me so much with Lorraine, that now I am trying to locate marriage records for her and my grandfather. which leads me to what happened to her brother, and who was he married to?

135389029 Arheit
I photographed the headstone for Frederick Arheit. His record showed him buried at Toledo Memorial as well as the document that you attached to the record, but he must have been reinterred at Woodlawn. He is buried in Section 35 with his parents. I had the creator of the record change the location to Woodlawn, but he asked that I notify you as well since you had added the document regarding his headstone application.

Robinson /Flynn family in Toledo Ohio

My name is Cathy Flynn Eckel. My father Edward Flynn was the son of Thomas R. Flynn and Lorraine Richey Flynn. I am hoping to find more information on this family

My grandparents owned several boarding houses in Toledo, ending on Cherry in the early 60's. Thomas was a fireman at retirement, with 3 sons, Thomas , William and Edward.

Any help you can give will be appreciated

REigle on Ancestor Question
The local physician recorded the youngest "boys" ( Franklin, Charles, and Wilbur) birth record as reigle instead of the original riegle. The. Boys found this miss spelling upon draft into world war 2. They continued from that point on. I can only speak for my father record. The oldest son George used the "new" spelling reigle also.

Marygrove Cemetery
Thank you for the photos from Marygrove, Raabs Corner, Lucas, OH. My mother grew up there and a lot of her family is buried there. I especially appreciate the Interment records. My great-great grandparents were Nicklaus and Katharina Bick.

Cunningham gravestone search
Thanks for looking for the gravestones for Alice and Floyd Cunningham. Not being able to find the stones is information in itself and is valuable to me. I appreciate your effort.

I have notified the owner of the Cunningham memorials in case they want to post a note on them about the absence of gravestones.

Thanks,
Ed Rowlance
