Bio Photo Please use the edit feature within the memorial to let me know of any corrections/additions to my listings so that I may make the changes.

I will gladly transfer ownership of a memorial to you if they fall within the Find A Grave guidelines, unless they are part of my own genealogical research.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Also, feel free to use any of my photos for your own use, although references are certainly appreciated. Please remember to use common courtesy to all, living and deceased, and have a great day.

RE: John Bell Stropes
My ancestor Nancy Franklin was living with his family in the 1850 census. I was hoping his wife was a sister of hers. It looks like they are not related. Nancy's parents I believe are Jesse Franklin and Elizabeth Gentry. Thanks for getting back to me. Pam

Edington Hardesty Greene county Indiana
I have lots of Greene county Indiana material - I have been working on GENI my tree is at it involves a lot of Greene county Indiana ancestry

I also have a line tree only on the MyHeritage side

Anything I can help with please ask and I will try to do so.

I am working on the Thomas Hardesty booklet I started back in 1976 which then was 50 pages when I stopped using the manuscript I think it was at close to 500 pages - I now have it in RootsMagic and it also now has the Hardesty's of England and their lines in it too

As you probably know I descend off of Thomas Hardesty through Aquilla and Margaret Hardesty Edington their sister married into my Emery ancestery

Thanks so much! I always watch for any military service while doing my research. They deserve to be recognized, so no problem there! :D

Pensacola circles. Stropes
I have been helping my wife find distant relatives that came from all over to Oklahoma. Jeremiah Lockwood Stropes son Adam J Stropes had a daughter
Gladys Stropes that was born 1896 Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. She married Ross Perry Hendren that had a daughter Mary Lea Hendren who lived in Texas most of her life but passed away in Pensacola FL,in 2011 just like Jeremiah 1906. What a circle.

William Stropes
I saw that you provided pictures of some stones in the Logan Cemetery, Pike County Indiana. William Stropes is buried in that cemetery. Did you ever locate his grave site? Was there a stone? He was in the 6th and 44th Indiana Infantry during the Civil War.

Thank you for your time and kind assistance.
