I started my family search in about 2003 and registered with Find A Grave in March 2006. I started with 45 names and now have 9197 in my Family Tree Maker file. I live in the West Central part of Texas and am retired. My ancestors are first found in the USA in North Carolina & Virginia in the 1700's and came from the Britsh Isles. My Ferguson side moved from Jones Co., Mississippi to Hill Co., Texas in the 1870's and the Haynes' moved from Breckinridge Co., Kentucky to Williamson Co., Texas in 1885. I have traveled over West, Central & East Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky in search of graves & records. My lineage also includes the Land, Perrin, P'Pool and Outhouse clans. I enjoy the hunt and providing records and pictures to other researchers.|

Thank you for the additions to her memorial. I have edited the obituary, per findagrave rules, and removed the names of the survivors. Thank you.
|Roots in Texas||RE: Mary Johnson Lankford Kruel|
It rained here all of yesterday. But as per Bluebonnet Hills, Mary's stone reads Lankford as her surname. They are searching their records to determine the date of transfer, etc. and said they would call me with the info. I will get to the cemetery and take a photo of the stone as soon as I can.
Based on this info about her stone reading "Lankford," how should I enter her information for the Bluebonnet Hills memorial on FindAGrave?
Should I enter her surname on the Bluebonnet Hills FindAGrave memorial as Lankford, and then in the body of her Bio mention that she married Dick as her second husband, but not connect Dick in the Family Links section?
I could also mention that she was first interred at Highland and her remains transferred to Bluebonnet Hills.
I am fairly new at this, so I will go with your recommendation. Your help is appreciated.
|Roots in Texas||RE: Mary Johnson Lankford Kruel|
I changed the spelling on the memorial I created for Mary Alice Johnson Lankford Kuehl to Kruel and added Dick as a second husband. That appears to be the correct spelling based on the memorials for Dick's other family members.
Now, I understand why I could not find a memorial for Dick on Find A Grave.
I will definitely call Bluebonnet Hills tomorrow to make sure how they have Mary listed in their records and let you know what I find out. I will also drive over and take a photo of Mary's stone if I can get to her gravesite. However, because of all the rain we have had in this area, I may not be able to get to the gravesite for a few days.
Mary is interred next to her daughter Melba Lankford Reaves. I need to take a photo of Melba's stone also.

I received an email message from you today inquiring as to whether I knew for certain that Mary Johnson Lankford Kruel is buried at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX.
Yes, she is buried at Bluebonnet Hills. Her daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Lankford Perdue, is my sister-in-law. Beth had her mother's remains transferred to Bluebonnet Hills some years ago.
As to the spelling of Mary Johnson Lankford Kruel's last name, I have in my possession a note from her on which her name is inscribed (printed by a print shop) as Kuehl. However, I will check with her grandsons and with Bluebonnet Hills tomorrow to determine the correct spelling. If indeed it is Kruel, I will correct the spelling on her Find A Grave memorial.
Thank you for your inquiry.

|Richard and Mary||Lorene Wilcox Vermillion|
Hello, You made a request to add Lorene's first name to her memorial. She is my husband's aunt and she never liked her first name. We are honoring her wishes by not including her first name. Mary and Richard Jackson
Don, I don't find a cemetery north of Haskell called Prairie View. I will check with the funeral home and get more information. I think Mary was Ed's wife and Ed is in Prairie View west of Anson.
|Nancy Gates||Mina Struempler Fuelberg|
Mina Fuelberg memorial #106865253 was my father's aunt. Marie Beerholst Struempler was her step-mother not her mother. My great-grandfather was married four times. His first two wives died in Germany. Mina's mother was Mina Schroder according to her confirmation record. I have a copy of the church record(St. James Lutheran Church New Wehden- near Brenham) of Mina's confirmation. I am sorry for any confusion.
Thanks for your dedication.

Do you have personal knowledge on the spelling of the surname? The memorial is "Pool" but the headstone is "Poole". My GUESS is that "Poole" is correct. This would also apply to his wife, Lucy. Their daughter, Effie, is already spelled "Poole". Thanks, Dennis. (A fellow Texan, in the DFW area.)
I have a pdf of the death certificate of EGB who died in Islip Mental Hospital in 1955. Alice3
|Klaudette Hillier||Anne Snider Richardson|
Can you help me? I am looking for the death date of Anne. Her Find A Grave memorial lists birth of 1861 and death of 1862 but she was the wife of Abraham A. Richardson so she couldn't have died at age 1. I can't read the year on her marker and am hoping you can help me and also change the date on her memorial.
Thank you so much!!
