I added a photo of little Bertha Early buried in Hill Grove. I have original pictures if you want them. I am not related to them. My husband's ggm was married to David. They had no children. Her name was Minnie May Weidle. I think this picture of Bertha was a rare find seeing she died so young.

I thought you might find it interesting to read about the removal of remains from the city's first cemetery, St. Henry's, to Calvary and the fact that --apparently-- families who claimed ancestors' remains would bury them in newly purchased plots in Calvary, deeper than normal, and then bury the later generations on top. This is interesting reading and it might explain the location of several decedents in one plot.
