You may copy my pictures to use on your family tree. |
I will transfer any member of your family or friends. Also, if you want to adopt a family to research let me know the surname. Together we can enhance these memorials.
Please use the edit link for all request.
I have my family tree on Ancestry.com and Family Search under " Gravehuntermary "
OBITS: We cannot name living people without their permission, please don't send me obits that are redundant to facts already on the memorial. I will add deceased children, parents and spouses in the bio area only if no burial is found for them. I will not add full obits.
If a family member of mine is a closer relative to you I will gladly transfer to you. Except for my grandparents.

They are family friends so I thought I would try to make the listings as complete as possible. I appreciate all your hard work on these. Pete had been sick for years but I'm sure it still has to be very hard on Carole and his family. If you don't mind transferring them that would be great and I'll add as much and link as much as I can. Thanks Mary! You're awesome! Steward

Hi Mary, yes, if you don't mind. William Hector Sherertz is my father, and I would like to maintain his "virtual" memorial.

|RWM||Samuel Thompson Woodland Cem|
Woodland Cemetery office only has that Samuel Thompson was buried in the cemetery, but not where. It has that he died on 6 Jun 1863, age 36. We looked at both Kennedy plot Q-23 that has William and Mary, Plus a James and his wife and he is not listed in the plot plan. The Kennedy plot in Sec S also does not have him listed. The office said that Sec S is a newer section and probably he was not buried there in 1863. Where did you get he was buried with his wife

I was reading through the instructions for this site. Do I email all the POCs listed on the individual grave sites for my family members and ask them to relinquish site responsibility over to me? I want to connect all my relatives and update their information and ultimately develop a virtual cemetery. The instructions are confusing because they refer to features I don't even see on the site. I would appreciate your insight.
Thanks - DC

|Harley Dakin||David Neighbor - Newcomerstown , OH|
I am the Historian for the Newcomerstown Historical Society. I recently received a request for information on Dave Neighbor, one of our founding city fathers. The lady requesting help is under the impression that David is buried in East Lawn here in Newcomerstown, which is not correct. I was wondering if you would be willing to share any info on your gr gr grandfather, David. If so please contact me email@example.com

Thank you. :)
I just wanted to thank you for adding a picture on Jenna's listing. I added her Father Pete's listing today and linked them and noticed it. I am a friend of the family and am from the area so I have known many of the people you have listings for. Thank you for all the time you put in making memorials that are permanent. Sincerely, Steward

|Thomas Glessner Weaver||RE: Noah Elwood|
Hi Mary, Edna is indeed buried in the Miamisburg Cemetery. OK to have a connection to Noah Elwood there as her spouse as far as I am concerned. I cannot find my photo of Virgina Magee Weaver and Noah Elwood Weavers grave in Wilmington OH yet. I did visit with one of the Magees years back to KNOW I took a photo. I guess I could request a Find a grave volunteer to visit the Sugar Grove Cemetery Wilmington OH. What would you suggest. I reside in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and get back to Ohio now and again. My recent project is scanning Noah Elwood Weaver, some 10 photo albums and trying to ID the photos. He was raised on a farm above Miamisburg on the west side of the Great Miami and then raised my dad on Main Street in West Carrollton. His photos were featured this past summer at an exhibit at the West Carrollton Historial Society. Where to you live Mary? Here is a link to a page on my blog you might find interesting. Thanks for your kind attention. Tom W
