I am retired and living with my wife of over 61 years on the western shores of Lake Whitney in Texas. I have been interested in genealogy for many years but am not a professional; it is a hobby in my old age.|
If I can be of service to anyone who finds an error in my memorials or would like to have more details added for your loved ones, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please use the Edit tab on the specific memorial page. I will respect your additions, and corrections.

I would like to know if you are related to Donavan Duncan Tidwell, memorial # 2410773. I am trying to find more info about this family. If you prefer you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your time.
You posed a very good question than I can't answer! I photographed the Fairbury Cemetery with no ties other than I was living in Fairbury at the time. I now live in WI. It appears there are 2 different stones for this kiddo- the one in KS has flowers whereas the one in NE is sort of generic, and matches his parents. Since I uploaded all 3 on the same day, his was placed either immediately next to or at least nearby the parents'. My guess is maybe he IS buried in KS, but the family wasn't sure at the time the parents' stones were placed, only knew they had a son, so added a stone for him next to theirs. I find it interesting that neither of the 2 stones appear to be the type common of the rest around 1900, and suspect neither were placed at the time of death. Fairbury Cemetery actually has a groundskeeper who resides in a house on the property, and has been there for several years. He (and the board) is in charge of all records of burials. I suggest contacting him for further help. Good luck!
