Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have a passion for photography and genealogy as well! I am slowly going to all of the cemetery(s) in our local area and photographing all headstones and updating them to this website.

Also -- another FindAGrave contributor wrote this... I think it says it all:

Please note: This is NOT a numbers game, Nor a "who has who" game here. Some of us are serious about getting names & photos of headstones that are not going to be around and making memorial pages. That is what this is about, making/recording that person lived and died. Like many, I spend long, long hours either in a cemetery, or adding memorial pages to Findagrave.com. I would love to see some of the headstones of family members that were in the 1700 & 1800 of my family, but that isn't going to happen as many are gone.

It doesn't matter who has the memorial page, the important thing is that someone cared enough to make a memorial page to honor that person and that is what findagrave.com is all about. Honoring the deceased, NOT who has what memorial or how many that they have. Thanks!

Esther Chamberlain
I just left some edits for Esther Chamberlain 1801-1858 #60399905.

My ancestor Esther (Russell) Chamberlain lived and died in Posey County, IN with similar birth and death dates. But her husband's name did not start with a W. His name was Isreal Chamberlain. I notice a boy and girl buried with her but neither are my person's children. Do you think I have the wrong person? I find it hard to believe there are two women of the same name and age in Posey county.

This should be William C Ries in posey co indiana I work for the Ries' and do genealogy on the side. And recently noticed the error.

William Peters
Thank you for posting the grave of William Peters at Bellefountaine Cemetery. His ID number is 65623487. I would like to ask if either (a)you would transfer him to me or (b) allow me to add info to his bio and link him to his wife and baby daughter, whose sites I manage. I would very much appreciate having the opportunity to add info about his life. We was a very active businessman in the Mt. Vernon community.

Thanks for your efforts!

Francis Beck / Mary Beck
Thank you so much for posting the photo of the gravestone of my great grandfather, Francis Beck (1841-1895), located in the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mount Vernon Indiana. Also, his son Oscar (1875-1892).

Francis Beck was a civil war veteran who lived much of his life in White County Illinois. I don't believe his wife, Mary Beck, is buried at Bellefontaine Cemetery. She moved to Fitzgerald Georgia in 1895 after her husband died. From there she moved to Waycross Georgia and finally to Tampa Florida, where she passed away in 1935 at the age of 92. I believe she is buried in Tampa along with her youngest daughter Grace Victoria.

I had no record of when Francis Beck died or where he was buried until I found your Find A Grave posting. Again Thank you for taking the time to create the site.

Peyton Walls
Peyton Walls, buried Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, was my great grandfather's younger brother. I'd like to pass on the information on his parents so they might be linked.

John R. Wallace Memorial 60373261
Regarding the memorial for John R. Wallace in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery--
I send an earlier edit 4 Oct 2013 which was incorrect and should be ignored. It has not yet been processed.

Could you please contact me regarding this memorial. I have a couple of questions which will help me determine which John Wallace this is and then I can offer additional information and proof which is too lengthy for a public message.

Thanks for your help.
