I live in Durham NC and try to respond to at least one photo request per week starting with the closest and working outward. I am also adding burial records and photos to Durham County cemetery entries. As the County Keeper for Durham County, NC let me know of any Durham cemetery listing corrections.
My current project is to photograph the entire Raleigh National Cemetery.
If you are related to one of my entries and would like to add or correct information, let me know and I will update or have the records transferred to you.
Dan

 | Justin Worth Campbell #457987 Dan. I recognized you posted this (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Campbell&GSfn=Justin&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=457987&df=all&) photo of Justin W. Campbell's resting place.
I was left without answers as my sister was given to adoption before I learnt to know her and sadly she passed away last December. This man is whether her brother OR cousin and I am eager to figure out what is the case.
Did you just photograph the marker or would you happen to have more information regarding Justin? The contributor who created his memorial is no longer accessible.

 | Pvt Briggs Memorial# 3272746 Thank you for trying to find and post a picture of the tombstone for Pvt Richard Briggs ( aka Richard Brown) of the 97th Pa. Infantry. His memorial says he is buried in the Raleigh National Cemetery in North Carolina, but I do not know. I have been searching for veterans of the 97th Pennsylvania Regiment and was hoping for a picture of the tombstone. You made a great effort to help and thanks to volunteers such as yourself, the memorials are made a little more complete when photos can be posted-- Thank you again for being a findagrave volunteer! | | | Joanne Hurrell Neely
 | A. Wade Hurrell You should not have added the Beulah Cemetary (Pennsylvania, Allegheny County) photo to this remembrance. This is my father's brother. The family was waiting for the grave marker to be completed before adding a photo in that space. I realize there seems to be a competition for submissions, but you and others should ask before doing.

 | Oakwood Cemetery Hi, I'd like to ask permission to post your photo of Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, Alamance, NC to my family tree to verify the burial place. I'd be happy to give you credit for the photo. I have some relatives buried here. | | | Tony Klingensmith
 | George Whitlatch Dan,
Thanks so much for the George Whitlatch memorial photo. The headstonen is so worn that I had to zoom in to make sure it was the right name. Looks like they need to replace this one. Thanks again for helping me honor this Civil War veteran.

 | Permission/Assistance Please. Hello. You uploaded a photo to memorial # 29674840. Could you upload the same exact photo to his wifes memorial or may I have permission to save it and upload it to her memorial which is memorial # 67868545 ? her name is not mentioned on the stone but the inscription says "John Woody and his wife". This constituted as her stone as well.
Thanks for any help. | | | Billy Walker
 | Richard Briggs Memorial# 3272746 Thank you for fullfilling my photo request for Richard Briggs gravestone. I haven't seen it posted yet but I will keep looking. The men of the 97th Pa. Infantry have been of interest to me since I learned they were posted in and near my hometown during the war. | | | | [View all messages...] |
