|Jennifer Alderman Keiser||Mary Alderman|
I see where you submitted a picture of this persons gravesite. Was this lady married to a John Alberry Alderman, born in approximately 1856? I am trying to trace some information.
|Susan||RE: Thank you|
Thank you very much. I'll think about whether it's appropriate for me to take on the other family members in this small cemetary. I will write to my mother's cousin who oversees the property; his parents and brothers are buried there too.

|Judith||Who can forget a name like "Chickie?!"|
My grandmother, Edith (Quella/Wettengel/Peterson), was married to Albert Leonard Peterson, who was her beloved second husband.
I believe Albert's cousin was Elvin Brecken, who was married to Hazel Brecken.
Many, many times during my childhood we would drive to Santa Monica to visit Hazel and Elvin.
Myron and Chickie Frederick were often at their house, and the adults would all play cards.
As I was exploring on your site, I came across your reference to "Chickie." How could I ever forget the name "Chickie?!"
My brothers and I would play in the huge enclosed room Hazel and Elvin had at the back of the house, under an enormous tree.
Their home was the site of many wonderful get-togethers during the 1960's, and I will never forget the plastic covers on the furniture, or Hazel's delicious food.
Although I am not related by blood to the Breckens or the Fredericks, I remember them with great fondness. They were a part of very happy times for me.
