I love doing genealogy and searching for information on family on the internet. Findagrave is a wonderful site. I'm hoping to finally find information on several brickwalls I have in my family.

Hi Brenda -

I'm glad you found him. The picture showing the absence of his plot in Butte County has been removed.

Thanks for the information, Brenda. I knew the dates didn't match up, or I would have contacted you about it immediately. Hope you are doing well.

RE: Ella Pearl Scott Hobbs
Hi, I just sent you a message about Ella Pearl, but I think I might have accidently deleted it.

Thomas & Pearl had 2 daughter that are buried in # 59. Benjamin W. Scott bought #58 and John C. Scott bought # 59. John is my great grandfather and Ben was my great great grandfather. They were brothers. My grand parents were second cousins.

more later,

RE: Ella Pearl Scott Hobbs
Hi, my grand parents were second cousins, so I have 2 lines of Scotts, and Scotts and Fosters married several Hobbs, Stubblefields etc. John Thomas Scott and Pearl Davis married in 7 April 1895, Newsom's Springs, San Luis Obispo, Calif. That is really behind Arroyo Grande. I just posted Pearl's info in the Santa Maria Cemetery on Find a Grave. The obit said she was to be buried in Arroyo Grande, but I've been unable to find her there. In the old Santa Maria Cemetery Records in Mollie Scott Foster's writing says she is buried in the Scott Plot # 58 along with 2 infant girls of Tom & Pearl Scott. There is also another child un-named in that same section. The 2 brother I'm connected to bought # 58 & # 59. I was told about 8-10 people can be buried in each plot. I have a little info on Pearl's parents. More later, Dixie

Ella Pearl Scott Hobbs
Hi, I was looking for another relative and I found Ella Pearl Scott. I didn't have proof I just thought she had died young just as her sisters. Her father John Thomas Scott 72910413 and mother wasPearl Davis 93362205. I can't add to her, so if you would like to please do. I've done research over 35 years, but am new to Find a Grave. Are you related to Scotts or Hobbs or Fosters? I am to all.
