Hello! You must have some relationship to these people because you have their pictures. Amazing. They are my 3d great grandparents. I was wondering two things:
1. If you are a relation do you have any pictures of Martha Worden who was the wife to their son Harry? I have never seen a picture of her.
2. Is there a nearby grave for Martha Worden Gardner? I have never been able to find the death information for her.
3. If for any reason you would be willing to share some family photos I would be really interested.

Hi, I recently added the photo of this gravestone and I wanted to let you know that I have submitted an edit to the information transcribed. I indicated date of death as Feb 21, 1882 when it is probably the 24th as previously noted. However, the year is not 1872, but 1882. Hope this helps.

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help. I found the marker early this morning hiding behind that VERY thorny bush to it's left. I had to go home and get some clippers to do some minor pruning. There was no way I was going to push the branches out of the way with one hand while trying to get a picture with the other!
Enjoy your weather in California - it was around 38 degrees when I got the pictures this morning.

I'm happy to have helped you, but do you mind telling me which photos I helped you with? I took a lot this past week. Thanks, Jan

You're welcome. I'm just trying to spread the wealth. If you take a look at one of the photos, you will notice that I labeled several graves for you...as well as I could. That cemetery has seen some better days; the old headstones were very worn and so many of them were destroyed. I don't know what happened, weather or vandalism, but it's rough.

Thanks for the correction on Martha Palmer. As you can see that stone was very hard to read. I just came across that cemetery last summer and I had to shoot it up before it was lost forever. Is Mrs. Palmer a relative of yours?
