A Southern Family Tree is not a tree but a beautiful Wisteria Vine with many branches going everywhere and a lost root!|

To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....
First, I don't link to Burial Unknown Site Memorials as BU shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site. When you made a BU, you have a chance of losing the memorial to the member who "Find A Grave" in the cemetery.
Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".
Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.
You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.
Many of the memorials transferred to me were done without my request for them. These memorials have found a home and will be nurtured.
Also, thank you for all the flowers and tokens left on my family's memorial. They are all sincerely appreciated by me and my family.
Remember to check on the Discussion Forums here. They are very newsy, helpful and interesting!
I leave nasty postings on my profile page so others can see just how rude and stupid people can be to others. Most read and laugh. :)

It was not dark on my end, IDK. Have it a go.
No, Millard Moore wasn't a widower -- he is my grandfather and my grandmother divorced him in 1931. Apparently, he married Jeannette McCormick sometime after 1939 then. My guess is that Adam McCormick purchased the 2 spaces in the mausoleum while they were married, which is why she is interred there beside him. But according to HER obituary, her name WAS Moore when she died, despite what her marker says (I'd think the name on the marker was either pre-engraved or they engraved it going by the original purchase order).

I'd just seen in my email inbox where you said her last name at the time of her death was McCormick, not Moore -- but I have a copy of the newspaper article about the car accident she died in that states her last name at the time of her death as being Moore. She was married to Millard Moore at the time of her death. I'll post the article later this weekend....

Thank you SO much for the edits you sent about her first husband Adam! As with every addition to a family tree -- one question gets answered and 10 more pop up! lol Are you kin to them, by chance?

Hi, yes I have read and am aware of Find A Grave FAQs It would be GREAT If I could maybe make a guess and be correct at knowing all the Unknown grave sites! Thanks!

I don't know if it is the same person. The dates and the name are Nearly exact matches. The date of death on the memorial in Virginia is just one day different than the one in Chapel Hills, Jacksonville and the date of birth is exact. I wonder is there a marker in the cemetery in Virginia? We know there is a marker in Chapel Hills. I just record what I see.
