 | RE: Armel/Mattison in Grand View You're welcome. I'll keep an eye out for them but I'm pretty sure there isn't a headstone for any of them.Added by Tyler on May 18, 2013 2:21 PM | | | Tyler
 | Armel/Mattison in Grand View Hey Alan,
I could not locate any Armels in Grand View Cemetery, and only one Mattison. I think maybe they were buried without a marker.Added by Tyler on May 14, 2013 6:26 PM | | | Roslyn Roisman-Patchi
 | RE: Althea Burditt I appreciate the transfer very much! Is there any chance that her husband, Charles Burditt might be nearby? I see all of his 4 wives but not him | | | Roslyn Roisman-Patchi
 | Frank Alma Burditt Alan: Thanks for the excellent photo, as always! | | | M Flower
 | RE: Orman Flowers Headstone Photo Your photo is very good. I know what you mean about surname variations--I've found 12 different spellings on one family line on my mother's side going back to 1450. Thanks again for your time and efforts, it's much appreciated. MaggieAdded by M Flower on May 08, 2013 7:46 AM | | | Theresa Latimer
 | Quintus Rich Thank you for posting the picture of Quintus Rich. It adds to my research of the Rich family. | | | NickTrack
 | Thank You -- Eliakim Culver Alan ... A special "thank you" for taking time to photograph and post the tombstone of Revolutionary Patriot, Eliakim Culver (1754 CT - 1841 VT). Eliakim is my wife's 3x-great-grandfather.
Eliakim served as a member of Ethan Allen's "Green Mountain Boys," and was at the Battle of Saratoga.
Your surname sounds familiar, as my wife has "Lothrop" in her Puritan ancestry. Thanks again. NickTrack | | | M Flower
 | Orman Flowers Headstone Photo Alan Thank you so much for the time and effort to post Orman Flowers headstone photo. The Flower family researchers will continue to try to figure out why he ended up with an "s" on his surname as he was born Flower, and had a land grant in that name. Perhaps he just gave up with people wanting to add the "s" which is still happening to us in this day and age. Gratefully, Maggie FlowerAdded by M Flower on May 07, 2013 7:32 PM | | | Tyler
 | RE: Grand View Cemetery Hey Alan,
I will definitely look for him. I know that most of the people in the Civil War are buried around the same section. It's the oldest part of the cemetery. Some of the older ones, the stones are hard to read. I vaguely remember seeing a Fred Bessette somewhere there. I know there's more than two different places that have Bessettes, so I'll see if I can try and find him.Added by Tyler on May 07, 2013 4:50 AM | | | Cadie Hockenbary
